Additional Information

I come from a family of artists, primarily musicians. My father, Raul Pereira, was the founder and vocalist of “El Polen” (the Pollen), a pioneering band that fused Psychedelic Rock with Andean and Peruvian Afro Music rhythms and sounds. This background sparked my interest in modern music innovation and the essence of traditional music, including its rhythms, history, and diverse instruments. My passion for music has driven me to explore various fields such as body percussion, creating instruments from recycled materials, music theory, and sound ensemble. I have honed these skills through practice and by participating in artistic and educational projects. In recent years, I have been involved in numerous musical projects and bands, including La Patronal and Viento Paracas.

OMG My kids had SOOOO much fun - I just did this event on 15 of feb 2020. It was amazing!. I am traveling with 8 children ages 11-15. 7 out of the 8 kids loooved it. The 8th was exhausted and not musically oriented but he was still happy to film his friends. The kids covered so much material in such a short time and were really able to enjoy themselves. A large range of instruments were allowed to be tried. Paloma was positive and reinforcing but knew how to maintain control of the class (kids were easy to get excited and on a tangent). Fiorella, the business partner- was great to deal with. She agreed to come to my airbnb and came at a time that was reasonable for my children. . I have traveled to Peru over 6 times in the past 10 years and this is the top thing in LIma I've had my kids do. . I will be booking it again for our next trip!
