Highlights of Lima: Miraflores, Surquillo, Barranco & Chorrillos - Mabel was a wonderful, knowledgable tour guide! We really enjoyed Miraflores, Barranco and Chorillos!

A different tour of Lima - Cesar and Julio were spectacular. Beautiful and different places with beautiful data and very good energy. 100% recommended.

Amazing - definitely recommend! - Staff were brilliant. I had Amadeo as a tour guide and Juan as a driver. I also had a message earlier in the day confirming my pick up and a very welcoming conversation. Tour was fab: car was comfortable, there was only 2 of us so it was really exclusive, Amadeo took us to a local market and treated us to fruits, chicha and picarones, his knowledge and English was excellent and he very graciously answered all my questions. We saw non touristy parts of Lima that aren't offered on other tours but felt safe all the time. Having travelled a lot and done various tours, I can't recommend Haki enough, I wish I had more time so I could do more tours with them! And it's all for a great cause too, with profits going to help extremely impoverished communities.

Aura was a great and... - Aura was a great and friendly tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the area. Was a great way to experience the city and spend part of the day!

Great experience - Really enjoyed the class. The chef was very friendly (as well as the interpreters) and worked at our pace. The company was very accommodating, even though there was a minor scheduling issue the communication was great and rescheduling was very easy. The dish was delicious. Would be happy to take another class in the future. Recommend this class.

Virtual lomo Saltado cooking class - The virtual “lomo Saltado” Cooking class with Haku Tours was so very enjoyable. The chef and the Haku Tours representatives were so personable, thorough and patient. They answered all of my questions and told me about the history of the dish and some of the tools they used to make it. The instructions were easy to follow, and they checked in often with me to see my food in progress and make sure I was on track. They never rushed me. I really enjoyed my time and I produced a FABULOUS meal under their guidance. We sponsor a Peruvian exchange student and he was so thrilled with the meal and touched that I had made it for him.

Virtual Cooking Class of a Peruvian Classic Dish Exceeded My Expectations - While the world is mostly locked down because of the Covid-19 Virus, I was pleased to see that Haku Tours was offering Virtual Cooking courses with Chef David. I have taken an in person class with Chef David when I was in Lima previously, and I have to say the virtual session exceeded my expectations. Chef David can give information in English if needed and of course Spanish. A list of food items to purchase prior to the Zoom session is sent. Chef David goes step-by-step in preparing a traditional Peruvian meal while you prepare the same in your own kitchen. This session was Lomo Saltado. Virtually is a wonderful way to learn, much better than just watching a You Tube video. It was great to have the interaction with the Chef and others that were taking the course. The price is extremely reasonable and Chef David is a patient and enjoyable instructor. I highly recommend taking one of Haku Tours virtual cooking classes. Also, this company gives back to the community by helping out the Shanty Towns by building Soup Kitchens and providing much needed supplies to those that need it.
