Friday from Jazz Zone and Gabriel Alegria sextet! - It is not easy to find this type of show in Lima... It can only happen in the most traditional jazz music venue in Lima. Despite the prices according to the type of show and the location, it is a shame that it was not a full house... at least, for now. You don't have to be a lover of jazz or Peruvian music to enjoy this show and this place. 10/10

GENIUS! - This show is one of the best I have ever seen. A cross cultural flight of epic dimensions. Watching the native Afro-Peruvian instruments interact with high energy Afro-Latin jazz was something to behold. I have never seen anything like this and hope that Afro-Peruvian Jazz Music becomes as popular around the world as it is in Lima. All of those reviews in The New York Times, Wall St Journal and local press were very accurate. This band is very cool, in a hot kind of way.
