Nice small group setting in a beautiful hotel in the safe Miraflores area. The pisco sours we were able to make were a nice touch.

Such a fun class. Bring... - Such a fun class. Bring your appetite ! Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint because you’ll want to fill up on the first 2 courses (ceviche and causa - so delicious) however listen to Rafael because you’ll want to save room for my favorite course of loma saltado. Rafael is very personable and a knowledgeable chef. Great way to end my trip.

What a Wonderful Food Experience!! - My wife and I had a day to explore Lima after our trip to Cuzco. We love the Peruvian cuisine and wanted to experience it with a food tour. Our Food Tours Peru experience was truly remarkable, having us prepare the most special dishes of Peru in a private setting. Located in the heart of Miraflores. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We now can’t wait to impress our friends at home in Canada with what we learned in class. Learning to make a proper Pisco Sour was particularly special. We highly recommend this culinary experience if you have a few hours to spend in Lima!

A wonderful experience! - A must do in Lima. Peruvian cuisine is one of the best in the world. To come and learn how to make Pisco Sour, Ceviche, Causa Limefia de atun, and Lomo Salgado (beef Stir-fried) is a fun, cultural experience. Miguel is so passionate and patient. Even if you are not into cooking as much, you will enjoy this experience and leave with full stomach! Highly recommend!

Outstanding Introduction to Peruvian Cooking - A really good introduction to Peruvian cuisine. Miguel is charming and has good English. He helped us prepare ceviche, Causa Limena de atun and Lomo Saltado at lunchtime and they were totally delicious to eat, helped by a generous amount of pisco sour. The boutique hotel he uses, WasiPai Boutique Hotel, is in the mega-safe Miraflores area just by the coast. We booked on viator. You will want to do this cooking class even if you don't cook much yourself
