It’s Turtle Time! - We had a great time snorkeling. The visibility in the water was not great but we were expecting that - it’s not the right time of year. Regardless it was totally worth it, we saw ample of beautiful tropical fish, coral and turtles!  Our guide was very knowledgeable and his presence invaluable, we would not have seen turtles without him. He located a rock with a loggerhead under it and told us to wait. When the loggerhead came out we swam beside him for 10 minutes.  The floating device is also invaluable. As much as you think you’re a good swimmer the tide is strong and you’ll get tired. I was very thankful for it.  A great experience all around!

Hard working guide - great experience. - Visibility was not great and we knew we were not at the best time of year but just wanted to give it a go. So glad we did! Thanks to our hardworking guide - this was a great experience and all 4 of us had good views of turtles, swimming with them for some time. The meeting point is just a couple of mins walk from the beach - suggest you only take the bare minimum, though there is someone on the shore looking after the bags. Offered a choice of traditional snorkel and mask or full face mask, and as I was not such a strong swimmer I also took the offer of a floatation vest too. The bay is quite sheltered so no big waves and guide has a float you can hold when tired or just to make sure you stay close. Our guy worked really hard making sure we all got a good view and we're happy with the experience. Would never have spotted turtles had we been on our own in these conditions. Definitely recommend Snorkelling Turtles in Mirissa.

Exciting experience! - What an amazing experience - would recommend to everyone I know! The guide was super friendly, took pictures of me swimming underwater with the turtles. He knew where to look to see coral, colourful fish and spotted a little turtle friend to swim next to! Snorkel, flippers and goggles included, he even provided me with a diving shirt in case I was worried about getting burnt. Incredible!

So much fun snorkeling! - We had so much fun snorkeling with weranga, he is such an experienced guide who helped us see turtles in deep water. Even though my friend was scared of ocean, weranga helped her enjoy the snorkeling and we were able to see turtles. His equipment was really really good too.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! BEST GUIDE!! - Weranga was our guide, we went in June when the sea was very angry but the bay we go is less rough due to the rocks covering both sides. It stared with heavy rain but our guide was very determine to make decision about when to go base on his experience. I was not a very good swimmer but he gave me floating tools attached to his body to guide me around. We are able to find 4-5 turtles even in this weather condition and he is truly incredible. He also help us take video and photos using his GOPRO and send it to us the same day. The only mistake we made was had breakfast right before the snorkeling so we both felt a bit sick from the waves, our guide gave us water and looked after us after, we could't thank him enough for providing a n excellent place and made us feel very welcoming. Highly recommend this activity!!

Successful turtle snorkeling - great experience! - We booked the 8 am slot as we read that there’s more turtles around in the morning - which was absolutely true! Saw many turtles, even coming to the surface sometimes. Brilliant time, great Guy and cool photos and videos from his GoPro. Worth the money!

Amazing experience! - Really cool experience! Our guide was lovely, he showed us all the best spots. He also filmed us with his gopro camera and set us the pictures. Absolutely worth the money doing this experience. I don’t think we would enjoy it as much if we just did it ourselves.

Worth the money - I loved this experience! It’s been a dream of mine to swim with turtles ever since I couldn’t complete my padi dive course. Having a guide meant I didn’t have to worry about where I was going, I could just fully concentrate on enjoying the turtles! He carried a float so I could rest on it every so often to sort my mask or any other reason. When we were on the move I’d just loop my finger round the end of the float and then I could keep my head in the water and watch all the fishies whilst knowing I wouldn’t lose the guide. Plus, all the photos he took were amazing, memories I’ll cherish forever!
