Highlights
  • La Calle Larios - Emblematic street of Malaga, meeting place for locals and tourists, a symbol of the city.
  • Malaga Cathedral - Outdoor only! Your guide will tell you from the outside the history of the city’s cathedral, an incomplete cathedral.
  • Alcazaba - The Alcazaba, completed in 1026 AD, stands as an imposing palace fortress. Beyond its significant military role, it played a crucial function in administration, serving as the governmental seat of the city.
  • Teatro Romano - Although dating back to the 1st century, this theater remained undiscovered by the people of Malaga until 1951, next to a public library called the House of Culture. With space for almost 1,200 individuals, the theater was a venue that hosted not only theatrical performances but also opera and even some public votes or referendums in the life of Malaga.
  • Museo de Malaga - Only outdoor! We conclude our tour with another highly significant square in our city. This place also signifies the birth of arguably the most globally renowned Malagan of all time, Pablo Ruiz Picasso. In the painter’s birthplace, we will share intriguing details about his life and work to wrap up our visit

Malaga tour - We were lucky to have Ivan as our guide, a local guy from Malaga, with excellent English and eager to show us his city. We had a fabulous morning with him. It was our first tour in Andalucia and one of the best.

The best guide - We are in love with Malaga! It is not as historic a city as Seville or Granada but it has something special. Our guide was Luis, and for a couple of hours he showed us the beautiful historic center, full of life and anecdotes.

Malaga and Picasso - I am an art lover and one of the reasons for my trip to Malaga was to learn about the life of Picasso. After making the reservation, I was contacted by Sonia, the girl who works in the local agency in Malaga. I told her about my concerns and she managed to find a guide specialized in Picasso and his work. The guide's name is Maria, ask for her if you want to understand Picasso's work. Thank you!
