Relaxing cruise around Hampton Court Grounds - This is a great way to explore the grounds surrounding Hampton Palace. In a small group of no more than 8, you take a cruiser bike and spend the afternoon (or morning) cruising around the expansive park with the tour guide teaching you about the history of the area and the palace. Trish, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. It's a cruisey ride, almost all flat, with several stops that will allow you to see the local wildlife (Red deer and fallow deer), the local pub, and major monuments. Note: You do not enter the ticketed area of Hampton Palace, you simply ride around it, so if you want to explore the palace itself, leave yourself a few hours before or after your ride to do so. All in all, a fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.!

Great ride! - Great ride and Trish our leader was terrific - very knowledgeable, great sense of humour, friendly and helpful. A lovely way to see the palace parks and the route was almost totally flat - just as well as the bikes had no gears!

Just the Best Day - I am a 75 year old Gran and did this trip with my 14 year old Grand-daughter. We loved every minute of it. Trish our guide was amazing, great fun and very knowledgable. It is nicely paced so you do not feel rushed and there is a stop at a pub for a drink. I would most certainly recommend this trip it was wonderful. Pauline C

Different type of tour - We had a great relaxing tour. Bike riding in Bushy Park and along the Thames was very nice. Not your ‘typical tour’ Our guide really knew her history!

A Royal Cycle Tour - What a wonderful experience! Cycling around the beautiful parkland of Hampton Court on a "vintage" bike in the company of the excellent Trish and other like-minded people' was a superb birthday present. From the time we met at Hampton Court Station to the moment we delivered our bikes to our starting point, everything went like clockwork. We were blessed with sunshine which added to the feeling of well-being. At certain points along the way, Trish stopped and shared her immense historical knowledge of the route, greatly enhancing the enjoyment. We saw many deer, dozing in the heat of a beautiful summer's day and went around the edge of an area where skylarks are nesting. Much of the route was shaded and with stop at a local pub, it does not feel strenuous. As long as you can ride a bike, I feel it is suitable for everyone. Loved it.

A lovely thing to do! - Had this tour pushed back a couple of times due to Covid - but when we got around to it, it was definitely worth it. Parked the car at Hampton Court railway station - parking is at the back! Usual hassle to park - by text/phone etc so allow some time for this. We walked 5 mins to a pub car park where the bikes were stored. A bit of a weird looking ‘Dutch style’ bike - proved to be very comfortable! So picturesque, the cycling was all very flat so easy to do. It was about 8 miles in total. There was a stop halfway at a (very noisy traffic) pub which we didn’t need but was ok. All in all, a very interesting, different, nice thing to do for a half day. On advice is - take a hat if sunny and enjoy! Our Dutch tour guide was very knowledgeable and welcoming - many thanks to her!
