The bread is made every day by La Chiusa, the ingredients are all fresh and of high quality. Wine, water and fruit juices are always available. Take your basket and decide whether to have a picnic in our olive grove and in the vineyard after a panoramic walk, on our terrace as if it were a quiet lunch or wherever you want if you wanted to explore the surroundings! If you do not return the basket because you prefer to have a picnic elsewhere, a deposit will be retained.

Our picnic hamper is ideal for a day excursion, a stroll in our olive orchard and vineyard, or a tranquil meal on our patio. The contents are all fresh, locally-sourced and high-grade: daily-baked bread from La Chiusa, traditional Tuscan charcuterie, cheeses, and everything you require for a premium sandwich! Also included are olives, salads or fresh veggies available, and sweets from our kitchen. Water and fruit beverages are consistently available to finish off your hamper. There’s the provision to select wine from the wine menu at an extra charge.

Picnic in Evanston - Looked forward to taking a picnic down to Millenium. Easy to order online- pickup was very timely. In fact they won’t take a phone order.
Unfortunately I didn’t ck and there were no forks or napkins included. (Seriously?)
The Refrigerator Chop was excellent.
The Salmon Simplicity w broccoli was a disappointment. The broccoli was way overdone as was the salmon which was of the same texture as shoe leather. Real dry and tasteless.
Off to a bad start for our first visit to Picnic. New chef? Short staffed?
