Great Dive and Guide - Hello, Let me begin my saying that I am an AOW and Nitrox certified diver with close to 100 logged dives. In April 2024, I was in Jamaica on a cruise. The cruise line didn't offer diving as an excursion. I did some research and found Dive For Fun Watersports. I sent them an e-mail explaining the time constraints and that I was interested in a two tank dive. Immediately, Carl responded that he could accommodate my request. Leading up to the dive, Carl kept in contact with me. Since I went outside the cruise line, transportation was my responsibility or so I thought. Two days before the dive, Carl e-mailed me with all the transportation details. He even took care of making those arrangements. The company was Jamaica Eternal Tours and Transportation. Once I arrived at the dive boat, I was met by Carl. He had all the equipment that I requested. On this date, it was only Carl and I diving. Most dive shops would cancel if they don't have at least 3 or 4 divers. It was a bit windy and choppy on this day. Carl and the boat captain (can't remember his name) selected the best dive sites without sacrificing safety or a memorable dive. Carl was an excellent guide. He pointed out interesting things along the way and gave me time to stop and look at the things that I found interesting. My favorite was the "Widow Maker" cave. Between dives, Carl and the boat captain switched my tanks for me. After the dive, Carl contacted my ride back to the ship. He even WAITED with me until my ride arrived. This was a great time. I felt safe and relaxed during the entire day. If you are looking for a dive shop in Jamaica, DEFINITELY look at Dive For Fun Watersports. I would not hesitate to use this dive shop again. We had Dive Master Carl all to ourselves for a unique and fun experience! - Really enjoyed our 2 dives with Carl!! My son was feeling very sick, amd he dropped him back off at the resort, but still continued with our last dive. This was very much appreciated!

Carl is a very good divemaster - Diving with Carl was very fun. The reef was beautiful. We saw a lot of nice fishes, a stingray, pufferfish and some other interesting stuff

Great dive experience - Highly recommend Carl! We are a family of 5 with 4 divers and one snorkeler. Carl was able to accommodate us by having Clyde snorkel with our son while we were diving. Carl was very professional and a great dive master. I asked if we could not go too deep since our teenage daughters are newly certified and a bit nervous. He made them feel very comfortable. It was a perfect trip for all of us. I would definitely hire him again. Clyde drove us from out hotel to the dive site pick up location and he had us laughing the entire time.

Great diving with Carl in paradise - The only reason this isn't 5* is because i booked online via their chat function and there was miscommunication between the office and the dive master so I went looking for the shop in the morning as directed and couldn't find it as it's based in a hotel, which made the start of the day a little stressful. Make sure you message the number the day before to make sure all is good and confirm the meet, as I wasn't expected. The experience on the boat and the diving itself was fab though as Carl quickly accommodated me. I was there on my own and the other couple were on a discover dive so just Carl and I went out to do the Widowmakers cave which was really cool. They took good care of us, the location is paradise and I would definitely dive with them again.
