Whales Galore. - The overwhelming number of sea lions, birds, and whales during our trip. I have never seen so many feeding ponds of sea mammals. It was exciting.

Amazing whale tour - We got to see so many dolphins and humpback whales. Watching the dolphins play and the humpback whales breach was amazing! The crew were extremely nice as well. It was a great experience.

Amazing - We didn't have to wait 5 minutes before the first fins appeared! We saw more than a dozen humpback whales during these three hours! The crew was also kind and did not hesitate to give explanations

Star of Monterey - Crew was friendly. Joe/deckhand moved about making himself available to everyone. A few guests were seasick. He made sure to keep checking on them. Water rough, but we had several whale sightings. Overall great experience!

Love Chris and crew! - Very personable crew who gave us a few good laughs! Wish i could remember their names! Wonderful experience! Saw lots of activity and not just with humpbacks! A pod of dolphins swam by us too. Not to mention the seals who swim in unison! Lovely lovely afternoon!

Great trip - the power and majesty of nature - how could anyone hunt these wonderful gentle fellow beings? - Great trip and well worth it. Chris and his crew really go above and beyond, and full to the brim with knowledge about the wildlife and surroundings, and what a boat! The whales were a little timid on our day and the weather could have been kinder, however still a memorable and amazing trip. We saw 4 humpbacked whales, and 3 orcas. A little further away than we’d have liked - but the crew are real experts and really did their best, and actually extended our time on the water as these guys really care about their craft, which is lovely to be a part of!! Totally recommended trip. Our boat blasted off into the Pacific swell, carving its path through the rollers - really epic. Be aware this can be a rough trip - the crew were really kind to those who were sick (3) and had a calm section where we went with the swell, but every whale watching boat is contending with the full-on Pacific Swell, so take a sea-sickness tablet and wrap up warm if this sort of thing gets you. Not for the faint hearted, but not to be missed, either; there was a lady of 90 on our trip, who stood against the swell like a pro!!! Kudos to her! And the whales!!!! A privilege to see up close these gentle yet speedy and powerful giants; how could anyone hurt these thoughtful caring animals who are just like us ? thinking, planning, caring for their families and friends just like we do - they’re our brothers and sisters... The thought of hunters hurting them makes my blood boil with rage. If you’ve read this far - book the trip and I hope you have the fun we had. We also bought a couple of pairs of sunglasses for our trip, one of which broke, and the really nice guy in the shop replaced them no questions. Real trooper, and really made our day!!

Amazing experience!! - We had to sail out pretty far but that alone was very cool! I’ve never been so far out to sea, and while It was cold, we were excited to be there. I would recommend definitely bundling up, WEAR PANTS! We didn’t get wet at all even though we were standing in the splash zone. We saw three humpback whales, an albatross, two otters, and a number of sea lions and dolphins.

Whales - Very good. The people working the vessel were great. It only took a few minutes after we got out there to see whales. Plenty of room on the boat for everyone.

Three hours being wet, cold and surrounded by people vomiting. - We live by the sea and own a boat. We dressed warmly and wore waterproof jackets. The sea was so rough that within 20 minutes every item of clothing we were wearing was wet. We were told it was unsafe to to move around the boat and could not seek shelter. Most people were being sick, the deck was awash with water and vomit. When eventually whales were seen unless you were on right side you could not see them. The boat captain did not at any time reposition the boat so people on the other side could see them. I need two hands to operate my camera but could not do so as I had to hold on to something. This was an experience, but not one we would want to repeat! Three hours being freezing cold surrounded by people throwing up.
