Excellent tour - Great tour with Roy. We really enjoyed it. Felt lucky to see a Toucan and lots of other incredible birds. Affordable option compared with other tours and worth it!

Stunning! - Absolutely loved it! We had an expert guide who had an excellent eye and ear for the birds. Got plenty of great photos and videos and Curi-cancha is a stunning well kept reserve.

Lovely morning excursion - My partner and I opted to spring for our first paid birding tour with Roy at Curi-Cancha, and we were not disappointed. Roy was punctual, knowledgeable, and good company! We were joined by two other couples, but we were all willing to go at a similar pace and had plenty of time to see the sights. Roy's experienced eyes and ears helped us catch a few things we definitely wouldn't have caught ourselves (Iike the brown-hooded parrots). Thanks for the great experience, Roy!

Great birding experience with Roy - Roy was a great guide! We wanted to see a quetzal and were so lucky to see a male and female out on branch for a long time to get photos and video. Roy was very knowledgeable, engaging, and fun to be around. We saw many species of birds and going with a guide is the best way.

Best little preserve in Costa Rica - Our guide was named Roy. He was absolutely wonderful. You could tell nature was his passion. The Curi-cancha preserve is intimate and uncrowded. We toured several nation parks but this place was a thousand times nicer. Plenty of birds too!

We loved it - This was our second tour with Roy, this time it was just me and my friend. Roy was great, made sure to show us tons of stuff. We learned so much about the local birds and learned to identify some of their calls. He was able to track down the birds we could hear, and get us great views with his telescope. If you are a nature lover, I definitely recommend this tour. This reserve is much less crowded than the Cloud Forest Reserve, which was a lot more enjoyable for bird watching.

Great intro to Monteverde region - This tour was a great first introduction to the Monteverde region! Our guide, Rosi, was friendly and knowledgeable. She did her best to help us spot a quetzal, we only got a glimpse of it because monkeys scared the bird away. She had lots of great information about the plants and birds and other animals, and interesting facts about them. Curi- Cancha Reserve has well-maintained trails and a good combination of open areas, secondary forest, and some cloud forest near the top.

Curi Cancha did not disappoint! - Roy, our guide, was incredible at spotting birds, and we saw quite a variety. He was knowledgeable about their feeding habits and habitat and we had a great time. Also, the Curi Cancha reserve is an absolutely amazing property with all sorts of terrain so great for attracting a wide range of species.

Place for Bird Enthusiasts - We had a private tour to watch birds, Well its all time, luck and the day! We got to see a toucan and hummingbirds, spent a god amount of time waiting for the bird to fly to nest. Guides have a network and show you the right spot which our eyes may miss out. Worth a visit as hike but a tour is of personal interest. The place has facilities of restrooms and sitting /resting area. Unpaved trails but well maintained
