Mercado Agricola Montevideo - MAM - An old original English structure that was an “Agriculture products market”, refurbished and reconverted to a general one with stores, coffe shops, beer and wine bars, but also offering fruits and vegetables.
Palacio Legislativo - Parliament Building(Congress), all made on marble from our country with a Italian architecture style. It was inaugurated in 1925 and is considered one of the three most luxurious in the world.
Parque del Prado - Prado Park it’s a hundred hectares size one that shows a great variety of trees and flowers, and interesting bronze monuments. A nice residential area borders it.
Estadio Centenario - It’s a Football (Soccer) historical Stadium, the first World Cup was there in 1930 and Uruguay was the first Champion.
Parque Batlle - Batlle’s Park is a 60 hectares one and hosts Centenario Football Stadium, the official Cycling course, the Track & Fields one, and “La Carreta” an unbelievable bronze master piece.
Montevideo Sign - Pocitos beach and its neighborhood, known as the “small southern Copacabana”.
Ramirez Beach - A quiet beach with pink granite sidewalks and an old building where nowadays the South America Common Market offices are.
