A lesson of survival - Went there as I knew about the accident and I was not expecting such a good museum, full of information. I have met the owner which is a close friend of some of the people in rugby team involved in the accident.

Well thought out, personal and excellent museum! - Went here with my partner after seeing the latest movie, and the amount of thought and detail put into this museum is bizarre. There is so many items and stories that you really feel connected to what happened. The owner came by to give a tour which was really appreciated!

A very interesting museum. Photos and films cannot convey all the sensations we got in this museum! I recommend! - Todo bien!) I really liked the fact that in this museum they talk not about how people ate each other and how they escaped, but how they survived in those conditions in which not every person in our time can live for even a few days. Mi respeto a todos los participants en la creación de este museo!

Worth the visit. - The museum is a mix of miracle and sadness. I was moved several times, especially when reading the letters written by passengers on the tragic flight. The attendant Valentina is very friendly and polite, she gave us the information very clearly. For Brazilian visitors, here's a tip: bring cash. They accept it for real. I paid R$40.00 for entry in May/2024. Very worth the visit!

More than recommended. - All the content of the museum was very interesting and the guys at the reception were super friendly, specifically the girl, who gave us very good information about the museum and also about things to do in Montevideo.

Great Content Packed into Unique Museum - One of the highlights of our trip was this small, creative, educational museum. There is a lot of history and great content packed into this place that told an amazing story. It is well laid out, almost the size of a very large house, not overwhelming. Even with everything we knew about the crash, we learned so many interesting tidbits, makes me want to go back and research the crash even more.

Do not let to go. It's quite an experience! - I followed this drama at the time it occurred (1972), I read "Alive!" and I saw the film at the time (I didn't see "Snow Society"). Although I have been to Montevideo several times, I had never noticed the existence of this museum - I discovered it on this trip and we immediately decided to go. Ticket at a very affordable price, easily accessible location in "Ciudad Vieja" and a very, very interesting collection. You will mentally review the images (from films or newspapers) and almost feel involved in an incredible adventure of survival, against everything and everyone (who have suspended the search). Do not let to go. It's quite an experience!
