Volcanic Adventure: Ijen Blue Flames & Bromo Sunrise - Incredible 3D1N Bali volcano adventure! Hiked Ijen Crater at night for the otherworldly blue flames - unforgettable! Sunrise over Mt. Bromo was magical. The tour was well-organized with a guide. Just be prepared: the Ijen Crater hike is challenging, early starts are key, and accommodations are basic. But for thrill-seekers, this is highly recommended!

Great drivers/guides, cool fire, long trek - Itinerary Know that this is a longggg trip. I was coming from Canggu so had to drive 4 hours to the ferry port, take a 1 hour ferry, take a 1 hour drive to the volcano base, to start the hike. Ran into no issues and communication was clear at all times. Just know it’s a long trip. Drivers/Guides Everyone was amazing. I sadly forgot the name of my drivers but they communicated with me through WhatsApp and were timely and friendly. My guide for the hike was Irul and he was seriously the sweetest and most attentive guide. He noticed I was tired and offered to carry my backpack halfway up the mountain. Bless his soul. He also was consistently asking whether he could take our picture to ensure we had a great experience. Blue Fire We were fortunately one of the earlier groups and got to see the blue fire before it got too crowded. The guide said there is an 80% chance of seeing it each time so you will most likely see it. Honestly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in nature. 100% worth it.

Awesome trip! - Our trip was greeted by our driver named kadek! Extremely friendly and customer oriented. The best supir! We proceed to mt ijen with our guide Aziz. Who was energetic and knowledgeble. The view of the blue flame was really a sight to be hold. Do note that, the supir will pick you up at 6pm from your hotel at bali and will drive you to ijen and you will hike straight away. But once you see the blue flame, you will feel rewarded and all the fatigue will be gone! Following that, we proceeded to bromo where we stayed at a comfortable hotel. To ensure that we are well rested to catch the sunrise and the crater. There will be a jeep that will take us to king kong hill where we get to see the sunrise and the other mountians closed by! Really and amazing sight! After that the jeep will take us to bromo crater. Do note that you can actually hike 2km to the crater or take the horse to the crater. There was about 250 steps that you need to take up the stairs to hit the crater rim. Overall it was an awesome and amazing trip! Worth all the traveling time. As we get to see one of the 2 blue flames in the world and get to hike along the crater rim! Highly recommended!
