Excellent tour guide and excellent learning for all! - Just completed the tour with Josh. He was an excellent guide, well prepared with stories and print outs. As a local, he offers an ordinary German perspective born after World War Two. To fully appreciate this tour, you need to have a basic knowledge of Hitler and the Nazi Party. It is not for newbies. Another tip is to visit the toilets before the tour as there is no toilet stop along the way. As a whole, excellent tour guide, Josh! And good for those who are keen to learn about Nazism with a balanced and local perspective.

Political History (and a great way to get your steps in at Munich) - Our guide, Michael, was approachable, friendly & informed. Whoever thinks Political History is boring would do well to book this tour. Michael injected (& I’m wary of stating this, considering the bleak subject matter) fun into a truly interesting walk around the older parts of Munich with his easy descriptions of the awful events that took place during the 1930s. If I had one negative about the experience, it is that so much of Munich from before WW2 was destroyed & most of what we see are faithful reconstructions. However, Michael was able to engage with the group in such a way that this fact was easily forgotten.

Excellent Tour, Excellent Guide - If you’re looking for a nice dose of history on your trip to Munich, I highly recommend booking this tour. Our guide Michael captivated us over our close to 3 hour tour. He was engaging, entertaining, and informative as we walked through the beautiful center of Munich. We walked approximately 2.5 miles during the course of our tour, and Michael ensured that our group stayed close and projected his voice so every stop was loud and clear for all patrons. I enjoyed Michael’s use of visual aides to assist in telling the story of the history, and we were able to learn a lot on this tour. Though we had done some sightseeing before, Michael introduced many new pieces of information about places we had visited and ones we were seeing for the first time. We felt that Radius Tours is a prompt and energetic company, and I would book via them again in the future.

Great tour & guide - The meeting spot was easy to find at the tour office where check-in was efficient. Arrive early as directed so others are not waiting for you. The tour departs on time. Our guide Nik walked us through a well thought out itinerary that provided a historic look at the rise and fall of the 3rd Reich. The old photographs presented of Hitler and others offered a look into the past when standing in the same spot today. Nik is clearly a scholar of the topic. His depth of knowledge and thoughtful insight were appreciated. He explained the complexities and layers of circumstances that created the environment for the 3rd Reich to rise and gain control. He was respectful when presenting minus political leaning which was appreciated. There was no drama purely a presentation of facts. Nik is a professional and handled the group of about 23 very well. The weather was not optimal yet he made the tour go smoothly offering locations to find cover while he educated us on the places and sights. We were a group of four adults and all felt the tour and Nik were excellent. If you like history and learning- go! Thank you!

Extremely informative - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Sam our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. He was an excellent storyteller and presented the information in a somber yet thought provoking way. The story about Georg Elser was very interesting and neither of us knew anything about it. Highly recommend the tour and tour guide Sam.

Join to learn - We enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and walked us through the places with an upright insight into the history. I wish I had learned more about this part of the history. Born and raised in Asia, this is my first time facing the history of WWII here - and I learned a lot. This is a good tour for all ages, especially for the youth.

Informative and quick. - Seeing the individual places where the Third Reich got its start was informative and I enjoyed learning as much as I could. If the tour didn’t have to compete with other tours to explain certain spaces I think it would have been better. I think we missed out on a few places because other tours already occupied the same space.
