Impressive Natural Landscape and WWII History - Manfred was a very fun and overall fantastic guide. He picked us up right on time with enthusiasm to start the tour. We started in Munich and traveled to Salzburg, seeing many interesting sights along the way. He pointed things out and we stopped along the way to see some mountains and WWII sights. We had lunch at a place with a spectacular view of the mountains and town below. Manfred was so willing and able to answer our questions. He was great with all ages. I would highly recommend touring with him!

Terrific Guide! Beautiful Trip! - I highly recommend taking this tour with MCM Tours and Travel. Manfred was our tour guide and drove us in a comfortable van from Munich to Salzburg, stopping in Berchtesgaden for lunch and touring Eagles Nest on the way. He was so knowledgable about the area and history. He made reservations for lunch, accommodated our schedule, showed us extra sites when he learned some in our group were "Sound of Music" Fans, and even advised us on trains. He did so many extras, I can't list them all. This was one of the highlights and best days of our 12 day trip!

Alpine views and lots of history - The hot tip for us on this day was letting MCM do the driving and pick the itinerary. We took some back roads that we never would have found past farms with amazing alpine views and learned a lot about local life and the area. We were able to tailor the trip to our interests and could have done some guided hiking - another option the company offers that we would do next time. Awesome lunch on a terrace with a view and fun off the beaten path trip!

Terrific Guide - Our guide was Patrick and he was very knowledgeable. Because there was still snow on the mountain and the road was not cleared we did not get to go to the Eagles Nest. Patrick did take us to one of Hitlers bunkers, the ruins of his summer home and three things/places of The Sound of Music. He went out of his way to give us a great tour.
