Bridgette made the experience great - Our guide Bridgette was charming and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking city tour before and had fun experiencing Oktoberfest for the first time. We had a table reserved in the balcony in the Lowenbrau tent and while it was a tight squeeze, we had a great vantage point. Talking more to Bridgette later in the day, it is obvious she is passionate about history and German/Austrian culture. We found this outing well worth the price and highly recommend it.

Great experience - This was a very good, well organised, informative and very interesting tour, with a very enjoyable afternoon in the Lowenbrau tent at the Oktoberfest. Our tour guide was Elisabeth (a.k.a. The Empress), who is from Munich and passionate about the city. We got see some of the lovely sights of Munich city centre, with Elisabeth’s explanation of the history of the locations, combined with information about the history of beer in Munich. The tour culminated in the Oktoberfest visit and 4 hours guaranteed in the beer tent, with food and drink as part of the deal. We had a great time with the new friends we met in the group, Elisabeth and the other guides from Bavarian Day tours remained with us throughout the afternoon, joining in with the festivities whilst providing more information about the Oktoberfest and how to make the best of the experience. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Oktoberfest, especially if it is for the first time. That said, I have been to the Oktoberfest before and had already been in the beer tents in the days before I took this tour and I still got a lot out of it and thoroughly enjoyed it. So much fun! - Our guide, Elizabeth, was excellent. The Munich tour was great and we were able to see a bit of the parade as well. Oktoberfest was an incredible experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour again. We had so much fun and even made new friends!

Great Tour - Our tour guide Marc was amazing. He was knowledgeable and captivated our attention. He made it very easy finding our tent and table at Oktoberfest.

Great experience! - The tour was great! We had Elisabeth as our tour guide and she did an excellent job. My wife was in a a wheelchair and although there were some bumpy parts, we got through it and had a good time. Would highly recommend!

Oktoberfest Fun. - Great experience meeting new people, seeing and hearing about the history of the festival, and trying a new experience. This reservation is almost necessary to get a table during the later hours of the festival. Our tour guide Jay also answered any questions and had a good hands on approach

Excellent Oktoberfest Experience - I highly recommend Bavarian Day Tours and this experience specifically, especially for those new to Oktoberfest. Given the chaos and struggling to get seats depending on the time of day, it was great having the peace of mind to know that we’d get a place in a good tent. The tour operators are fantastic and have been doing this a long time, so they were great sources of information about Munich, Oktoberfest, and the surrounding region.

Beer, history, beer - We had Anuschka to come and show us around Munich. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating. We started with a walking tour where she was able to give us the history and significance of the location. After a brief history and tour of Munich we went over to our reserved area within a “tent” in Oktoberfest. It was a little tight, but we were able to make new friends and enjoy each others company. Everybody had a great time. Prepare your liver and stomach for all the beer!

Fun! - Bridget and her husband were great and always took very good care of us, will definitely book with them again!
