Munich’s unique history begins at Marienplatz, where the old trade routes meet. Here and in the surrounding area there is a lot of city history to discover, which is presented in an entertaining way by expert Brezntours guides. Visit the most famous pub in the world, the Hofbräuhaus, see the famous Viktualienmarkt, stroll through the ancient Munich Imperial Castle - definitely a lasting experience! On our tour we see several town halls, the oldest church in Munich and the site of the first city mill, where the Pfistermühlbach used to flow. Passing town houses from the 14th century and the oldest hotel in Munich, we will also see a tower clock that runs backwards. We will find out where the famous white sausage was invented and what the Munich Kindl means. It is only a few meters towards Maximilianstrasse and Max Joseph Platz to the Bavarian National Theater.
