the most disappointing trip i have... -
the most disappointing trip i have ever booked through viator. I have no diea what happened, if the supposed guide we had, was one found on short notice or if he was the usual one. He did not talk at all beyond things like- this is the museum, it is full of...... stuck for words there Earlier we had also been told we were at a museum when it was actually the fort. The mosque was apparently at the top of the hill, when it was actually at the bottom and to the right. We only knew about the villages we passed through as we saw the signs. We certainly did not stop at either of them. We did not stop at a souk on the way back and by that time we weren't caring as we just wanted to be back at our hotel. The guide also 3 times had to ask for directions. no lunch stop either
With the right guide this would have been a good tour. Some of the scenery was beautiful. And it was interesting to see beyond the city of Dubai.
Whilst i was disappointed with the tour I can say that viator handled the complaint very well. I note that this is a new trip for viator so I hope that my complaint will also result in others having a far better experience.
