Excellent day out of Luanda tour with Luzaya - Again, a very well organized tour by Luzaya - the park and safari is a nice day out of Luanda, but Luzaya went the extra mile to add on a local river tour, with a local delicious meal, and some additional sightseeing - again, they do their best to listen to their clients needs and build a trip to fulfill their goals...the team is friendly, informative, and it felt like I had a companion, but clearly was also well looked after and with local connections. We saw some interesting animals and experienced nature, and again, i cannot recommend highly enough the Luzaya team if you are looking for a unique Angolan and Luanda experience - including this safari day out

Amazing day trip with an awesome guide! Loved it! - Amazing day out, awesome tour guide (Etson) and some great added extras. We started with the safari and were lucky to see many zebras, kudu, wildebeest, antelope and then one elephant out in the open and the ears of two others through the trees. At the camp where you get the safari vehicle we also saw a lot of monkeys!!! The boat trip was really lovely and the restaurant where we had lunch was super cute. The food was delicious and filling! We then went to the slave museum and our guide was very well informed. Then a quick look at the artisan market and dropped back at Luanda. A highly recommended day trip from Luanda, very well done and very professional. Can't thank you guys enough for such a brilliant day. Go to their website to see if they do any group packages.

Excellent day trip to the National Park! - Superb day trip to the National Park! Transportation was very spacious and comfortable. Agreed upon pickup location and time was honoured. The driver and guide were both wonderful - professional and very keen to share information about the park and country more widely. It takes approximately 2 hours to reach the park from Luanda. We were in a large air conditioned mini van with snacks and drinks included. Once at the park, we were treated to complimentary coffee and tea, a spectacular view, and a much needed toilet break! Then we switched to a safari vehicle for a 2 hour safari drive, where we saw among many animals elephants, zebras, wildebeest etc. The game drive was excellent! We returned to the lodge, for a quick toilet break and also to collect the mini van to drive to the marina for our 45 minute road trip boat ride! The scenery was beautiful and the boat felt very safe. We had lunch at a local restaurant on the other side of the water, which was included in the tour price and was very tasty (local fish with yam, plantain, beans). After another quick toilet break, we left the park for our final attraction of the day - the Slave Museum (which we swapped out for the Viewpoint of the Moon, since we had planned to do this the following day). Our guide was very informative and shared a lot of important information about the museum and history of Angola. Overall, a superb day! I recommend you book directly through the website, you won’t be disappointed with your tour. The company is highly responsive, flexible and the staff are professional and welcoming!

10/10 would recommend - This excursion is a must if in Luanda as you get to see 3 of the key sightseeing spots: quicama National park, Miradouro da Lua and also the national slavery museum with the crafts market! It’s a great way to see what lies just outside the main city. The Safari itself was great! We were driven there and then once arriving at the park, driven around an hour into it where we changed to an off-road vehicle accompanied by an additional park guide. We saw a wide range of animals and spent a great deal of time following the off-road elephant trails in a hope to find them but sadly had to give up after a while. We did however see zebras, monkeys and a lot of other native animals! Whilst in the park we took a boat ride along the river to visit a restaurant that was floating on the water, had some great fish for lunch, before heading back on the boat and leaving the park for the other sightseeing spots! 10/10 recommend. The animals in the park is pot luck, but it’s still great to go and experience it’s beauty, either way

Well organized, pleasant one-day programme - It was well organized, Ivonne super nice and really interested to show her country. We have not seen that many animals, but regardless of this the flora, scenery is beautiful so it was a good tour. The local lunch on a floating restaurant was a nice surprise.

Great day trip - It was a great day with Luzaya tour to the Quicama Park. The tour is well-organized with Safari, relaxing boat tour, wonderful local fish lunch and a visit to the craft market. Our guide Ivone is simply the best. She is helpful, patient, intelligent and speaks perfect English. The driver is also very skillful and steady. Would travel again with Luzaya tour and recommend this to everyone here.

Remarkable landscapes and an amazing tour guide! - I did the Kissama National Park and Miradoura da Lua day trip, as a solo traveler, with Ivone of Luzaya. Organizing the trip and payment was easy. Communication / pick up details beforehand were clear. Ivone was one of the best tour guides I have ever come across. Very talkative, interesting, inquisitive and intelligent. Also incredibly insightful as regards the local history, culture and people. I have traveled to around 150 countries and done many day trips like this. I would absolutely recommend this one to everybody!

Varied trip of Luanda surrounding - Trip was a nice experience, although the National park Kissama is not where you can see a lot of animals during the trip like in some other parks in Africa. However, the experience was compensated by a nice boat trip with an excellent lunch and a museum visit. The tour guide was nice and full of knowledge with a good English. Definitely it is necessary to improve the pick up process, as it was arranged that we will be picked up at Epic Sana hotel aj 6.00 but we were picked up at 6:40 with no prior call from anybody !!! The beginning was quite a stressfull because of that.

Total disregard for the customer and false advertising! - Total disregard for the customer. False advertising. My luck was that I would pay in person on the day of the tour, because after spending the whole week calling this company to find out if the tour would go out and when they responded (they were always slow to respond to my messages) they said yes, it would go out. anyway and such. So I prepared to go during the week and just in the morning, 30 minutes before the trip, the person in charge of the company sent me a message saying that they couldn't take me because there was a problem with their car. I tried to seek further explanations and did not receive any further response or any subsequent email or message. I stopped doing other things, I waited all week for the tour and they left me at the last minute!!! And there was also a problem with the value that was changed. First was the amount of 135 dollars that I didn't pay because I hadn't received any confirmation message from the company (lucky me). So after the company got in touch and said that the tour would go ahead, I went to book again and to my surprise the price had increased to 200 dollars. When I questioned this, they told me it was because my first reservation was for a couple, which didn't make sense and that wasn't the case either. So they recommended I book directly with them via WhatsApp and pay in person. So I withdrew the entire amount in local currency which was a lot of money, I organized myself to go, including paying an extra night at the accommodation where I was staying to be able to go and in the end they canceled it that way. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.
