Highlights
  • イーチャリティ那覇国際通り本店 - Meet us at our shop nearby the Makishi Monorail Station. It’s a 1 min walk from Makishi Monorail station. Pick up your bikes and listen to a quick briefing so everyone can ride safely and have fun!

  • Matsushima - As you ride along the riverside, you’ll encounter a scenery where traditional and modern houses coexist. If you greet the locals passing by, they will respond with a warm smile. You can definitely experience the everyday atmosphere of Okinawa here.

  • Shurigibocho - Just off the bustling main street where a monorail runs overhead, you’ll find unexpected trees and stone steps that exude a deep sense of history. As you descend the stone steps, you’ll be greeted by a perennial spring and the gentle sound of a waterfall, which is hard to believe exists in the heart of this city. It’s a place where you can experience relaxation through the power of nature.

  • Shuritobarucho - After passing through residential houses, you’ll encounter another spring. It is a miraculous spring where waterfowl gather from the depths of the forest. Here, only the sounds of birdsong resonate in a silence that feels as if time has stood still.

  • 1 Chome - It is a shop that values and preserves recipes passed down through 7 generations since the Ryukyu Kingdom era, handcrafting each Ryukyu traditional sweet with care. The confectionery artisans, dedicated to upholding tradition, warmly greet you with smiles along with the sweet aroma of sugar. You can witness the production process and even have the opportunity to taste the sweets. With a single bite, you might feel like you’ve time-traveled 200 years back and experienced the ambiance of the royal court.

  • Shureimon Gate - This is THE ceremonial gate that symbolizes Okinawa. With its striking vermilion color and well-balanced design, it was called “Ue no Ayamon- Ii no Ayashō” (A beautiful gate standing above) by the common people of that time. It’s a perfect opportunity to take commemorative photos in front of this majestic gate. We will take a break here while basking in the glow of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

  • 903-0814 - You will slowly descend a hill where you can overlook Naha City. Red roofs, guardian figurines, and stone pillars are scattered throughout, creating the atmosphere of a castle town. Try to spot them while you explore the peaceful area.

  • Shrikinjocho Stone-Path Road - You will explore the Shuri Castle town, which served as the capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom. As you wander through its streets, adorned with cobblestones, temples, and sacred shrines, you will immerse yourself in the culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom era and experience the religious beliefs of Okinawa.

  • Asato - The way back is an exhilerating downhill. Let’s feel the wind as we ride down. The finish line is within sight! We’re heading towards our original meeting point.

  • イーチャリティ那覇国際通り本店 - Return your bicycles and we will conclude the tour. Enjoy the city of Naha on your own afterwards

Great tour - I really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in seeing nature and learning about different Okinawan traditions. We visited a miso producer and biscuit producer. The tour company was flexible in rearranging the time of the tour to avoid the rain.

Best way to see Naha - Our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable and made sure that everybody had a great and safe time. We saw the highlights but also the hidden gems while riding through the city and the outskirts. I would highly recommend this tour. Friendly people, good material (helmets with 2 way communication build in) and a fair price.

e-bike tour Naha - We went on a 3 hour morning bicycle trip around the Naha city area and up to Shuri castle. This was a highlight of Okinawa in that it introduced us to some hidden and hard to find spring water sources that were used long ago as water collection, washing areas and spiritual places that we would not find on our own. Sachi our guide was excellent at explaining how to follow her in traffic and what to expect in traffic. She took us by special places to eat and explore then to local businesses that are old time purveyors of soy sauce, miso, and sweets to Shuri castle. Then to the quite spiritual places of the water wells. We were the only ones there at most all of the places we visited. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Naha.

"Friends" who show me their home - I was only in Naha for two days, so I thought that I might be able to see more on the bike tour than on my own or by bus or train. It was better than I expected. I was greeted when I arrived and I immediately liked the team. I was given a quick introduction to road traffic and then off we went on the e-bike. We communicated via helmet and took breaks to explore on foot. What I also thought was great was that it was adapted a bit for me because I hadn't been sightseeing yet, so the focus was spontaneously distributed differently. Thanks to the e-bike, I wasn't exhausted even after the tour, even though it was really steep in places, but the motor did all the work, but I was stupid when changing gears because it was already too late when I was going up and you had to stop. :.) I was also able to see things and take in information that I would never have seen/heard myself. Why am I putting so much effort into the review? Because I had so much fun and the team was super nice! The tour felt more like friends were showing me their hometown. I definitely recommend it!

Morning Tour - The weather was nice and we were able to go around a course that we wouldn't normally go around, and we had a very good time. But it's hot. It is recommended that you participate in a perfect condition for the heat! If I had the chance again, I would like to participate after the restoration of Shuri Castle... Thank you very much.
