Our adventure commences in Nahuizalco, a town renowned for its indigenous people and local marketplaces. Continuing a few kilometers up the mountains, our next stop is Juayúa. Here, you can explore the main church of El Cristo Negro and the central plaza, and indulge in the local food festival if it’s the weekend. From there, we proceed to Apaneca, where we will pause for a coffee tour and tasting session at the Entre Nubes plantation. Following the route leads us to Ataco, a vibrant town known for its wall murals adorning many houses around and the main street lined with souvenir shops.
