- Ngong Hills - Our accredited guide will pick you up from your hotel. They will then drive you to Ngong hills(1 hour drive) while giving you a description of the tour. Once at the hills you will see the windmills at the KenGen power station. This is where you begin the hike across the seven hills. Keep an eye out for the animals you might see during the hike. This is a 12km hike to the seventh hill and back to the car. It is advisable to carry hiking gear, drinking water, snacks or picnic food for the best experience. Mornings can be cold so have a warm jacket. Once done with the hike your driver could take you to a nice restaurant for lunch before finally dropping you at your apartment/hotel.

Additional Information
Ngong Hills offers a superb trekking adventure, with the tallest hill standing at an altitude of 2460m (8042ft). Located to the southwest of Nairobi, it provides breathtaking panoramas of the rift valley on one side and the Nairobi cityscape on the other as you traverse the trail. A guide will accompany you along the 12km path. It’s advisable to wear sturdy hiking boots with reliable traction, as well as long trousers and long-sleeved tops, due to the area’s propensity for strong winds.

Awesome hike on the outskirts of Nairobi! - Such an incredible hike. I enjoyed the great views while still feeling the exercise. My guide Peter was great and he helped me get the motivation I needed when the hike was steep. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent hike on the outskirts of Nairobi - I highly recommend this tour. The views are great from start to finish with the rift valley on one side and Nairobi on the other. My guide Peter was friendly and professional. I have no complaints.

Great experience! - Peter was great and picked us from our Airbnb. He was so friendly and funny. The hike was breathtaking! The views were beautiful. We would highly recommend this tour! Use Peter...he was reliable, on time and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time!

Incredible don’t miss this experience for anything - Absolutely incredible. Went solo. Peter was beyond one of the best guides I’ve had trekking he’s one of the most awesome peeps you’ll likely get to meet on a hike like this: knowledgable, kind, keen eye for animals and nature, excellent everything. The landscape and area is breath taking! One of the highlights of my visit to Kenya. Will be back for me. Highly recommend this. You won’t regret it.

Peaceful itinerary. I cleared my mind thanks to the wind, sun, nature and physical effort. - That's was the hiking I was looking for that day. Nice view, not too far away from the city, easy to intermediate level. Guide discret but present when needed! Leaving my place at a decent hour.

Great Tour - Thank you Peter and John for such an incredible tour. I really enjoyed hiking the Ngong Hills. Incredible views and unique landscape. Carry some water and wear shoes with grip for the hills.

Beautiful views - Beautiful hike! Amazing views and nature. John is a very professional guide and I'd highly recommend hiking with him as a solo traveller. The 12km hike across multiple hills took about 4 hours. Be sure to bring lots of water!

Amazing Hiking Experience - Peter was great! Super knowledgeable of all things Kenya and took the time to answer my many questions with patience. It was fun getting to know him as well during the hike which by the way was fantastic! Lots of picturesque scenery and peace with a challenge. You won’t be disappointed!
