Additional Information

Embrace the splendid beauty of the Sonoma vineyards with your full senses on an organized cycling trip, touring the local wineries. Leave the car behind, slow down, and discover the wine country from an unrivaled viewpoint - by bicycle! As part of a small group led by an informed local guide, you’ll gain insights into the process from grape to wine. The cycling tours move at a leisurely pace, with only 3 to 5 miles of pedaling between each winery visit. The tour includes a tasteful picnic lunch at one of the wineries, as well as a visit to two wineries, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour/tasting at Vella Cheese factory (not available on Sundays).

  • Minimum age for admission to the winery tasting rooms is 21 years; for this reason, we are unable to accommodate guests under 21 on this tour.
  • Please note: This is a wine-focused tour that includes visiting three wineries. Although wine tasting fees are not included upfront, there is an expectation that guests signing up for this tour will be participating in tastings. This tour is not a good choice for guests with limited interest in wine tasting.

Great day in Sonoma - Had a great time. Visited several historical points of interest and two wonderful wineries. So much wine!! Delicious lunch and dessert and wonderful scenery in between. Bikes were in great shape. Very easy to ride in Sonoma - not much traffic and took a lot of back roads. And our guide, Mike, was easygoing, knowledgeable, and kept the group together. Highly recommend!!

The views and experience of the different wineries are unforgettable. I would recommend this to anyone. One of the best ways to get outside and see some wineries.

Quality bikes, helpful staff, and amazing scenery. - We rented bikes and explored Sonoma for the afternoon. The staff provided a route for us to travel that included beautiful scenery: vineyards, mountains, beautiful homes, shops, and some amazing wineries. They even provided us with texted links so we could use our phone to have guided directions (phone holder on the bike provided). If you’re going to Sonoma, and want to explore the area while getting a little exercise, I highly recommend using bikes, and using this bike shop in particular. They also have e-bikes, if the exercise thing isn’t for you. They had tandem bikes, which looked fun, but our teens weren’t into it.

Nice Tour - Jeff our tour guide was great. Bikes make the ride so enjoyable. Personally for us, we would have liked to be on the bikes longer. Time at winery was in our opinion was way too long. If you are poking for a chill day this would be great for you.
