Perfect trip! Does what it says on the tin! - My hubby and I joined this tour as the start of our honeymoon - due to it being off-peak season we had the lovely John as our private tour guide! His knowledge of the region, horticulture, art deco and of course the vineyards is tremendous, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We went to 3 vineyards, Brookfields, Church Road and Mission Estate, all offering something different and tasty. We finished the tour in town at Good George where we sampled some cider products before being dropped back to our accom. Was the perfect intro to Napier and we will certainly be back, and stay for longer!! :)

Hawke’s bay wine tours half day wine tasting is highly recommended. - Tere, our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable about wine making, the local area and its history. We were given the choice of visiting 3 vineyards and a brewery, or visiting 4 vineyards with the rest of the participants, and were glad to have opted for wine! The last vineyard was the oldest and the wine was lovely. In Brookfield we were greeted by the owner who explained about the wines and treated us to a glass of a vintage wine that is sadly no longer in production. The trip included a platter of food in the Church Road vineyard which was delicious. This was great value for money and very educational but we couldn’t relax too long at each venue before we had to move on to the next vineyard. Recommended.

Fun small group tour - We were picked up on time by our wonderful hostess Terri. What a lovely lady. She was a wealth of information about Napier and the wineries. First stop Mission Estate, then Pask Winery (delicious) finishing at yet another winery. Then on arrival back to Napier we stopped at Good George brewery for some delicious beer. It was a very enjoyable day out and a lot of fun.

Wine, beer, pretzels, a sharing platter, and tales of Napier. Highly recommended. - An exceptional, informative, and amusing afternoon provided by John, a really great host for whom nothing was too much trouble. The wineries we visited were scenic, and the wines were varied, and how much you enjoy them depends on your taste. Everyone on the trip thought at least two or three out of the tens we tried were exceptional. What better way to finish the day than beer and pretzels.

Personal wine tasting and interesting to meet a couple of the families who run the vineyard. - We visited four very different wineries and had lots to taste in each one. There is a different host at each place talking you throw the tasting including the history of the vineyard. Daryl picked us up from the campsite we’re we were staying and took us safely around in his mini bus. All well organised by him.

Best Tour on Our Trip - We had an amazing day with Scenic tours! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited a variety of small and mainstream wineries. Spoke with some viticulturists while eating cheese. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Half day tour in the Hawkes Bay area. - Great tour with our driver John. Visited three wineries and finished up at a brewery with a great selection of beers and cider. The Mission was especially interesting and John was a source of information between wineries. Very sobering narratives around natural disasters in the area. Winery hosts were knowledgeable and we tasted some really nice wines.
