• Mt. Fuji 5th Station - The highest point of Mt. Fuji accessible by car, making it a popular spot for hikers. This is the nearest location to view the summit of Mt. Fuji. You can enjoy a magnificent view of the city from the viewpoints.

• Arakurayama Sengen Park - This temple and park feature numerous stairs and stages that lead to an exotic and breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji at the top. The summit is renowned for its scenic views and photo opportunities.

• Lake Kawaguchiko - Lake Kawaguchi is the second largest of the five Mt. Fuji lakes, offering a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. The Kachi Kachi Ropeway ascends to an observation point near the summit of Mount Tenjo, providing views of both Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. There are also many hot springs available for relaxation.

• Oishi Park - Located on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi, Oishi Park offers a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. The park features a 350m walking path lined with various flowers; from early April to late May, moss phlox flowers create a pink carpet, from late June to late July, lavender blooms, and from mid to late October, kokia shrubs display their vibrant red autumn colors. The contrast between the flowers and Mt. Fuji is spectacular.

The park also houses the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, where you can make fruit jam and enjoy an all-you-can-eat cherry and blueberry picking course. The café offers specialty blueberry ice cream.

• Oshino Hakkai - A small village famous for its eight ponds fed by fresh water from Mt. Fuji. It is also known for its food and souvenir vendors.

• Gotemba Premium Outlets - A shopping mall featuring premium outlets of major brands. A good place to visit if you have spare time.

• Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - Located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, this Shinto shrine is commonly known as Kitaguchi Shrine. It serves as the main entrance to the Yoshida Trail, one of the primary routes to the summit of Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest peak.

The shrine is dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the Shinto goddess of Mount Fuji and volcanoes, along with other deities associated with the mountain. It is a place of worship and pilgrimage for climbers who visit to pray for safety and success before their ascent.
The Kitaguchi Shrine complex includes various structures such as the main hall (honden), auxiliary buildings, gates, and torii gates marking the entrance to the shrine grounds. The surrounding area is picturesque, with lush greenery enhancing the spiritual atmosphere.
