The journey begins as we head towards the suburban and rural areas of Suva, driving through lush forests and stopping at a scenic overlook with views of Suva harbor. Fijians have diverse ways of welcoming guests. Upon arrival, you’ll be adorned with a floral lei and guided to the village community hall. There, you’ll be encouraged to partake in the local Kava ceremony, a common social and ceremonial practice on the island. The Kava, a non-alcoholic beverage, is prepared from the raw root of the pepper plant, crushed into fine powder, and blended with fresh water — a ceremonial staple in Fijian culture.

Following this, we’ll explore the village, interact with the locals, and pay a visit to the local school to spend some quality time with the children. After completing the tour, a delicious lunch will be served.
