Transfer by bus to the port of Milazzo and immediate boarding on a private motor vessel. Arrival in Lipari and free time on the island of about two and a half hours, to go shopping in the delightful alleys of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The historic center of the island is picturesque where the acropolis is located on which the Castle and the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo stand out. Departure from Lipari and arrival in Vulcano and free time of approximately two/three and a half hours to visit the island. Departure from the Islands and arrival in Milazzo. Return to the starting points. N.B. LANDING TAX - ECOTAX NOT INCLUDED!!

Cancelled without communication. - Tour cancelled without any communicationI booked a Tour in the Aeolian Islands (Lipari and Vulcano) with Viator, paying $269.06. The tour was booked for Friday 10th May, picking up in Taormina. On Friday 9th May I went online to the Viator site to do a final check on the pick-up location to find that the tour was ‘Cancelled’. No explanation was provided only that I would receive a refund in 3-5 days. No communication of the cancellation took place prior to me finding out by chance. We extended our stay in Italy just to visit Lipari and paid an additional night’s accommodation to do so. The cancellation was too late to organise and alternative tour.
To say we were bitterly disappointed is an understatement. We were furious, and still are. Viator you let us down. No communication and you cost us additional expense. After this experience we will never use your site and I would recommend you don’t either.
