Pidurangala Rock - In the afternoon, visit the nearby Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views of Sigiriya.

Pidurangala Rock is an incredible 360-degree viewpoint located opposite the world-famous Sigiriya Lion Rock. Hiking to the top is possible for both of these rocks, but hiking at dawn to the top of Pidurangala Rock is a real adventure. You get a good view of Lion’s Rock itself.

Dambulla and Kandy

Dambulla Cave Temple - Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This garden is widely popular for its stunning collection of orchids. In the central province of the country, Royal Botanic Gardens sprawls across 147 acres at 460 meters above sea level.
