Highlights

Delhi (arrival)

Lotus Temple - Arrive in Delhi by flight before noon. Welcome to India’s capital and its second-most populous city. Delhi’s significance lies not only in its historical grandeur as the seat of empires and its magnificent monuments but also in its rich and diverse cultures.

A private car with a driver will pick you up from Delhi Airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After freshening up, head out for sightseeing, starting with a visit to the famous Lotus Temple. Known for its flower-like shape, it has become a prominent city attraction. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (the residence of the President of India) and visit the India Gate, a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died between 1914–21 in the First World War.

Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Delhi.

Delhi (sightseeing)

Humayun’s Tomb - After breakfast, set out for Delhi sightseeing. Drive past the Red Fort and visit Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India). Then visit Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Enjoy a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk. After that, visit Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Built in 1570, it holds particular cultural significance as the first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent.
Have lunch at a restaurant. Then visit Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a 73-meter (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five stories. Qutb-ud-Din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started constructing the Qutb Minar’s first story around 1192.
Later, visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh temples in Delhi, known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, and the pool inside its complex, known as the “Sarovar.”
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.

Delhi – Agra

Agra Fort - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Agra. Welcome to the city of Wonder, home to the Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world. Pictures of the Taj Mahal don’t do justice to its magnificence. It’s an epitome and symbol of love. You have to be here to feel your jaw drop. Agra used to be the historic capital of the Mughal empire.
Reach Agra by afternoon. Have lunch at a nice restaurant. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. In the late afternoon, visit Agra Fort, a historical fort that remained the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638. Walking through courtyard after courtyard of this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, your amazement keeps growing as you hear about the history of this fort from the guide. In the evening, visit the local market to get the true essence of Agra city. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Agra.

Agra - Ranthambore

Taj Mahal - Early in the morning at sunrise, visit the spectacular Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. After visiting the Taj, return to the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Ranthambore. Once a private game reserve of the royal House of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the world’s best-known wilderness areas.
Reach Ranthambore by evening and check in at the hotel on arrival. The evening is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Ranthambore.

Ranthambore (jungle safaris)

Ranthambore National Park - Early in the morning, head out for a jungle safari tour at 6:00 am. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest tiger reserves in India. It is, in every sense, a perfect place for wildlife photography. Later, return to the hotel, have breakfast, and relax.
Have lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, head out again for another jungle safari around 3:00 pm, this time on a different path. You might get a good chance of sighting the Indian tigers. Spend some time exploring the area; the forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Kings of Jaipur.
The evening is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Ranthambore.

Ranthambore – Jaipur

Jaipur - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards the Pink City - Jaipur, famous for its broad avenues, massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples, and royal culture.
Reach the hotel by afternoon. Check in to the hotel on arrival and relax. In the evening, enjoy a guided walk tour of the heritage Pink City market. Jaipur is also known as a shopper’s paradise. Take in the glint and sparkle of the rows of shops selling hand-crafted bangles and other decorative items. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region.
The overnight stay will be at a hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur (sightseeing)

Amber Palace - After breakfast, set out for some local sightseeing. Visit the historic heritage sites of Jaipur - Hawa Mahal (“Palace of Winds” - a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside); Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh and completed in 1738 CE. Then, visit the City Palace. A complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, the impressive City Palace is right in the center of the Old City. Then visit Jal Mahal (the palace in the middle of the lake), built in the 17th century. Visit the grand Amer Fort (or Amber Fort) (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Its current structure was built during the late 16th century by Rajput Kings. In the evening, visit Nahargarh Fort, which provides a beautiful bird’s eye view of the entire Jaipur city. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.

Jaipur – Delhi (departure)

New Delhi - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Delhi Airport. The private car will drop you at Delhi Airport by late afternoon.

Once in a Lifetime. . . ❤️ - Our trip was the adventure of a lifetime! We were totally taken care of every step of the way and were in communication with our guides, driver and the office at all times. I felt like a queen having my car door opened and closed for me! The tour of Delhi was wonderful. We saw so many sights and even experienced a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of the bustling market, taking in the sights and sounds of everyday life. In Agra, our guide Vinay really went above and beyond for us. We went on a sunset boat ride and saw the Taj Majal from a different perspective after which we had coffee at a cafe with a Taj view. All the time, Vinay took gorgeous photos of us especially on our early morning Taj Majal visit that we will treasure forever. Our Rathambore safaris were super exciting, the drivers and guides being expert wildlife spotters and we were thrilled to see the tigers that morning. The hotels were all beyond our expectations - gorgeous! Our last destination - Jaipur was marvellous - the pink city. We were able to see incredible views from the fortress high ave the city and see elephants for the first time on our trip! What else can I say? I would highly recommend Bout Travel to anyone wanting a lovely, stress- free tour of northern India. Thanks SO much for this once in a lifetime experience! Cheers! Dianne Heatherington

Our trip of a lifetime to the Golden Triangle and Ranthambore India - For my first trip to India I attended the wedding festivities of a young friend in the Punjab region. I wanted to complete my visit to India with a tour of the Golden Triangle and time in Ranthambore National Park. By chance I found the website of Bout Travel which was able to organize a personalized 8 day tour for me and my travel companion. Bout Travel is wonderful! They were attentive to our every need ensuring that we stayed in top notch hotels and had excellent guides who were most knowledgeable and caring. As seniors in India for the first time, we were apprehensive but Bout Travel put all our fears to rest, took excellent care of us and treated us like princesses!. In Delhi we stayed at the 5* hotel Le Méridien and were guided to see such sites as the India Gate, Jama Masjid, the Qutub Minar and the GurudwaraBangla Sahib. A highlight was a rickshaw ride through the old market Chandni Chowk. Kudos to our guide Hari who provided historical details at each site and organized our time in Delhi so that we could visit the monuments when they were not too crowded. Our visit to Agra was amazing. Our guide, Vinay Gupta is not only extremely knowledgeable but is also a superb photographer. The photos he took of us around the Taj Mahal at evening during sunset and early the next morning were like a professional photo shoot and delighted us and our friends who have seen the exquisite photos. Our visit to Ranthambore was a definite highlight (among all the others). I think the Tigress Hotel and Spa is perhaps the best hotel I have ever stayed in of all the many luxious hotels I have seen in a life of worldwide travel. The service at the Tigress is exceptional and the place itself is like a hill station palace from colonial times. We went on 2 safaris and were most fortunate in the morning trek to see several tigers at fairly close range. I commend our wonderful safari jeep driver and guide who seemed to know just where to go for the best places to spot tigers and other animals. Our afternoon safari was not as successful but we did manage to see an elusive sloth bear as well as many deer, birds and crocodiles. What an incredible experience we had at Ranthambore! We only learned later how very lucky we were as many of the other guests did not see any tigers or even many other animals and birds. The final stop on our fabulous journey was in Jaipur. We loved our hotel Alsisar Haveli in Jaipur. It is like an aging palace from the Mughal times with its passages and quiet little inner quadrangles with beautiful bougainvillea everywhere. We particularly loved the resident pug dog Stella who considers it her duty to check on all the guests! Our guide in Jaipur, Karan Singh was again excellent and guided us to all the sites at times for the best photography without crowds. He also helped us with shopping. Bout Travel took us out for a lovely dinner at the White Sage Restaurant on our last night. It was a wonderful way to end our trip of a lifetime. I cannot complete this review without mentioning our fantastic young driver, Nilesh who met us shortly after we checked in to the Méridien in New Delhi and accompanied us throughout the entire trip navigating through unbelievable traffic. He stayed with us right until the end when he drove us from Jaipur to New Delhi airport to catch our flight home to Canada. Nilesh is a gem and Bout is lucky to have him as one of their drivers. He is such a sweet, shy young man and yet a fantastic driver. Bout Travel, you are the best and I will recommend your services to anyone planning a visit to India wherever they wish to visit. Bout Travel can arrange personalized services and book the best hotels and guides as well as provide drivers to take one around. Bout Travel catered to our every wish. We always felt safe and well cared for when travelling with Bout.

Great Golde Triangle & Ranthambore tour - Our tour was impressive and very well organised by Bout India. Tour guide Narottam and driver Shankar were great (experienced, reliable, helpful, funny). Furthermore, the hotel selection (Oberoi, Taj, The Leela) was absolutely to our taste. Besides the sightseeing, there was also time to relax and enjoy.

Golden Triangle Tour, A Delight To The Senses - We had a wonderful private tour with Bout India. Journeyed with our fantastic driver Gaurav from Delhi to Agra & the unforgettable Taj Mahal. Then to Ranthambore and enjoyed two Tiger jeep safaris, but unfortunately didn't sight any tigers in Zone 7 & 8 but saw plenty of deer and antelope. Then on to Jaipur and the wonderful Pink City and finally returning to Delhi. India is colourful & noisy and a delight to the senses. We had different guides at each location who were both knowledgeable and very informative. The food and accommodations were to a good standard. We stayed Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi, Villa 21 Agra Homestay, The Tigress Ranthambore, Alsisar Haveli Jaipur and finally Welcomehotel By ITC Dwarka New Delhi. The team at Bout India were always on hand if there are any issues and in constant contact throughout our tour. Would definitely recommend a tour with Bout India.

Quick India tour - Bout India did a great job of organising tour the only thing that would have made it better would have been group tour. These are coming back as tourism increases. Special mention to home stay in Agra and safari tents in Ranthambore both were excellent with very friendly hosts. The guides were all knowledgeable my only issue being we got left behind a few times when they crossed roads or in crowded areas we are not used to pushing forward in front of others. Our driver Munna was excellent great driver and always smiling.

Fantastic personalised private tour - Bout India helped my party of 4 to arrange a Golden Triangle private tour for 8 days. We visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur with a dedicated car (Toyota Innova) and driver bringing us around through out. We met with knowledgeable local guides at each destination who brought us to local attractions like forts, palaces, lakes etc. The accommodation arranged were fabulous with old heritage hotels, palaces included within the package. Himanshu, Divya and the team at Bout India were highly accommodating and always checked in with us via WhatsApp and calls to see if there’s anything we’d like do/amend on the itinerary. For example, we changed some of the fort visits to a guided walk around local villages/areas as we wanted to learn more about the local way of living which the Bout India team efficiently arranged. While in Jaipur, we also managed to catch the Bout India team for a nice dinner hosted by Himanshu. Was great to put faces to all the names. Highly recommend Bout India and team for your future trips to India.
