Additional Information

‘Akshardham’ signifies the sacred dwelling of the divine. Celebrated as an everlasting sanctuary of devotion, sanctity, and tranquillity, Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi serves as a Mandir — a divine residence, a Hindu place for prayers, and an educational and cultural complex dedicated to devotion, education, and unity. Ageless Hindu spiritual teachings, lively practices of devotion, and historical architecture are all vividly reflected in its art and design. The mandir serves as a modest homage to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781-1830), the incarnations, gods, and notable sages of Hinduism.

Very good. - The grandeur of the Temple. For one so young and five years taken to complete. Was for-nominal. Just a shame no photographs were allowed inside or out.
