Amazing food and company - worth every minute and penny - The best way to try unique street food, walk through old Delhi and hear about Indian history. We had the best time with Raghu and Sonali who were so kind and knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend especially if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by being a tourist

Exceptional Tour - An exceptional tour with an exceptional host. And so much food! Unwisely I ignored his suggestion to skip lunch and to come hungry - though I did put in a champion effort to eat everything made available - and left feeling completely stuffed. Raghu’s knowledge not just of the history of Old Delhi, but of the history of Indian food in general, was enlightening and educational. Do this tour.

Don't miss this if you're in Delhi! - I was initially skeptical at how a business can have so many positive reviews and such a high rating but it's fully justified! We had Stanley as our guide for an evening walking food tour and I cannot recommend him enough. He was so knowledgeable on the history of old Delhi & gave us so much information about the food. There are a lot of stops so make sure you arrive very hungry - the food was so tasty everywhere we went. Old Delhi can be quite crowded but I felt very safe with Stanley watching out for us! The perfect evening emersed in Old Delhi 💕

Absolutely Phenomenal - Absolutely phenomenal food tour in Delhi. My guide, Stanley, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and really helped me feel at home not only on the tour, but in the city in general. And the food itself couldn't be beat! From sweet to savory, mild to spicy, and everywhere in between, you'll leave with an appreciation of the multitude of flavors of India.

Amazing food we wouldn’t have found ourselves… - We booked a tour via tripadvisor from home in the UK for our very first day of our India trip in Delhi. Our wonderful host Stanley met us at Connaught place and because it was low tourist season we were lucky enough to be the only couple on the tour - making it a private one! Our guide Stanley made the experience amazing, guiding us around Old Delhi showing us how to navigate the metro and all the best spots for safe and clean street food. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel safe walking around the Chandni Chowk area. Obviously the highlight was the food (it was amazing!) but the insider knowledge was invaluable. When you first hit the streets of Delhi you have no idea where to begin so it was great having Stan show us around. It was a pleasure to hang out with him for 5 hours and talked to us the whole way around about local history. So greatful we found this tour and Stanley in particular, it certainly helped us lots by doing it on our first day and made us more street savvy for the rest of the trip! The lost compass and Stans communication was exceptional, messaging us the day before and the day of with specifics on where to meet etc. Thanks again Stan the man, you were awesome and we will never forget our street food tour of Old Delhi 🤩

Don’t go on a Sunday - As a foodie, I really wanted to love this tour but sadly did not :’-( I have to be honest as I’ve always appreciated unbiased reviews myself. Having been on several walking food & heritage tours within & outside India, I wasn’t surprised by the unsanitary conditions of Old Delhi. The oppressive heat & humidity, and inevitable swarms of flies made everything worse for sure, but there were a few genuinely avoidable disappointments. Firstly I don’t recommend taking (or conducting) this tour on a Sunday. We were stood outside & given the big hype about seeing the largest spice market, for those with delicate lungs to watch out for chilli fumes, etc etc only to enter and be greeted by a shuttered & deserted alley, not a chilli in sight. Surely the tour company knows the market is closed on Sunday. Why even take clients there then? Secondly (or mainly!) the food. I’d definitely never have ventured to eat in those alleys myself, but would’ve gone back in a heartbeat if the dishes were truly delectable. Sadly most were tasty but unremarkable, good but not great. In other words I felt the tour food selection wasn’t worth the effort, discomfort, time & price we paid for the experience. Bedmi puri was overfried & dry, aloo chat was average and high expectations of the famous paratha gulley were dashed by tough & doughy breads. Banana paratha novelty was pressed upon us - some sort of deep fried pocket of horror. The order of foods was also messed up - we had dessert first (a superb & unique kulfi stuffed mango), mango lassi followed closely by chai - but were left hanging without a sweet ending to finish. Sure it’s dependent on the walking route, but isn’t that the job of the tour operator- to come up with a clever route that presents dishes as they should be eaten in an Indian street food meal? And last of all - contrary to other gushing reviews, any group of strangers would bond & feeds off of the high energy of their tour guide. Historical & cultural detail could have been presented more vibrantly. Sadly poor Stanley himself seemed listless that day, and very much in need of a weekend off like the rest of us.
