- Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Begin your journey at Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Take a stroll around its red sandstone courtyard. Constructed in 1656 with the labor of 5,000 workers, it stands opposite the royal residence, ‘Red Fort’, in the heart of Chandni Chowk.
- Chandni Chowk - Chandni Chowk in Delhi is a lively market from the 17th century, renowned for its bustling streets filled with shops, street food, and historic sites like Jama Masjid and Red Fort. It provides a window into Old Delhi’s rich cultural heritage with its variety of offerings, from traditional textiles and spices to delicious local cuisine, making it a must-see for tourists and a vibrant spot for locals.
- Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - In 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru visited the King and healed people suffering from smallpox and cholera by giving them water from a tank. This tank, used by the Guru, still exists within the Gurudwara and is believed to have healing properties.
- Humayun’s Tomb - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the first garden tomb in India. Humayun’s wife commissioned its construction after his death. You can choose to visit either Humayun’s Tomb or Akshardham Temple.
- India Gate - The 1921 ‘Tomb of the Unknown Soldier’ features the names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen who died during the First World War engraved on its walls.
- Parliament House - After visiting India Gate, you will drive past Parliament House. Feel free to take photos before heading to your next destination.
- Rashtrapati Bhavan - This architectural marvel combines Indian and Western styles, with intricate carvings, grand domes, and expansive gardens. Its grandeur reflects the authority and prestige of the Indian presidency.
- Qutub Minar - The tallest brick minaret, built in 1192, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Mehrauli. The surrounding area is known as the Qutub complex.
- Lotus Temple - Visitors can enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the Lotus Temple, walk through its beautifully maintained gardens, and admire its stunning architecture. Inside, they can engage in silent prayers or meditation, absorb the serene atmosphere, and learn about the Bahá’à Faith and its principles.
- Swaminarayan Akshardham - One of the largest Hindu temples, built in 2005, its architecture gives the impression of being centuries old. You can choose to visit either Humayun’s Tomb or Akshardham Temple.
