Highlights
- New Delhi - Your tour begins with a pick-up from your chosen location in Delhi between 6:30 AM and 7 AM. Pick-up can be arranged from any hotel in Delhi/NCR or the Delhi airport.
- Nizamuddin Railway Station - After being picked up from your hotel, our driver will take you to Nizamuddin Railway Station, assist you in finding your train coach, and ensure you are comfortably seated. Your train will depart for Agra at 8:00 AM and arrive at 9:50 AM.
- Taj Mahal - Upon your train’s arrival at Agra Railway Station at 9:50 AM, our guide will meet you outside your train coach holding a sign with your name. From there, you will proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Your tour guide will provide the historical details. Spend approximately 3 hours at this monument.
- Agra Fort - After visiting the Taj Mahal, you will head to Agra Fort, a massive red stone structure built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. This UNESCO World Heritage site, constructed in the 16th century, includes many palaces such as Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and the Pearl Mosque, with views of the Taj Mahal. Spend about 1 hour here.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Agra - Following your visit to Agra Fort, you will take a lunch break at a 5-star hotel in Agra.
- Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah - After lunch, continue your Agra sightseeing with a visit to the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah. Often described as a “jewel box” and sometimes called the “Baby Taj,” this tomb is considered a draft of the Taj Mahal.
- Mehtab Bagh - Next, visit Mehtab Bagh, also known as the Sunset Point, to explore the rear view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. This spot is ideal for photographers. Please note: this visit is optional, depending on your schedule.
- Nizamuddin Railway Station - Later, we will drop you back at Agra Railway Station at 5:00 PM. Our guide will assist you in finding your train coach and ensure you are properly seated. Your train will depart from Agra at 5:50 PM.
Your train will arrive back at Delhi Station around 7:30 PM, where our driver will be waiting for you outside your train coach.
- New Delhi - Upon your train’s arrival in Delhi, our driver will pick you up from your train coach and take you back to your hotel or the airport in Delhi/NCR in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Ali and Salman - Above and beyond! - I want to say that Ali (our tour guide) and Salman (our driver) did all they could to make our day memorable.
Let’s start with the train. We did not order the full package because I purchased our round-trip tickets ahead of time (NZM-AGC - 0740 arrival). This option is not specifically available through Viator, yet Ali and his crew were ready to meet us directly outside our coach, as they asked for a copy of our tickets. We were in constant communication and it was very satisfying to know someone wouldn’t leave you hanging.
It was extremely hot and humid, and upon leaving Agra Cantt station we were whisked into Salman’s clean, cold car with cold bottled water waiting for us. Ali gave us a rundown of the day’s itinerary while driving to the Taj.
Upon arrival, we were escorted like a VIP to the front of the line and got right in. Ali knew all the history of the Taj (he was born and raised in Agra), and took frequent stops to ensure we weren’t tired out. Did I say it was HOT?? Cold water again while we drove to our next stop.
When we were done, the guys took us to their favorite local restaurant where the food was awesome. The naan was so light and fluffy, everything was hot and fresh!
We then toured Agra Fort, and this was awesome as well. The guys then graciously stayed with us for a couple hours while we waited for our return train to go back to Delhi and took is there. Once again, VIP entrance to the station. These guys know everyone in town and the touts and beggars leave you alone for the most part.
Once at the station, my buddy left something in Salman’s car, but with one phone call Ali had it in our hands in minutes! Unbelievable, thank you!
I have only one suggestion/complaint: do NOT go to the Agra Marble “factory” if they ask you, it’s a total ripoff.

Taj Mahal with friends :) - Amazing experience! Feizen gave us a full explanation of the Taj Mahal history, made sure we always stayed together and safe, took great pictures and was always kind to answer any of our questions. Would recommend to anyone!

An incredible day - This tour was fantastic. Sameer was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge. His English is perfect and he did everything to make the experience enjoyable. The driver, Kissore, was very punctual and accommodating. The tour is definitely worth it and I highly recommend to anyone.

Day tour of Agra from Delhi - We had a great tour around Agra. The Taj Mahal and Red Fort are stunning to see. The Taj Mahal early in the morning was a particular highlight. Faiz was a great guide and very handy with taking iPhone pictures of us. The pick up and drive from Delhi is easy too.

Taj Mahal day trip - Pankaj was our driver. He was on time and the drive was smooth.
Adil was our tour guide. He did a great job. He is very knowledgeable on the history of the Taj Mahal. He took pictures of us which looked better than the pictures taken by the “professionals” on site. He also gave us free time for ourselves and patiently waited for us as we took our own pictures.
Would highly recommend!

Great tourist agency that knows what service is, with guides who have passion for their job <3 - This was a special solution to a request to travel directly from Delhi to Agra and back.
We had such a good experience with the Tourist Office as we had two previous bookings with this company and were so pleased. All three tours have been great and the guides have been exemplary. Enormous knowledge, with kindness, understanding and a twinkle in the eye.
The last trip was to the Taj Mahal with the guide Rafik, a knowledgeable guy who was very engaged & passionate about what he was talking about.
We feel very satisfied with what we have seen today. Everything from the Taj Mahal and how the work behind it.
Hugely grateful, highly recommend Rafik as a guide and the company that helped us with this solution.

Super talented and nice guide! - Our guide Rafiq was very nice and accommodating in everything we needed.
Showed genuine interest in his job and we were very satisfied with our tours in Agra which of course included the Taj Mahal.

Great Taj Mahal tour - Rafiq was a great guide, he explained all the details of the Taj mahal during the visit. Transportation was great and on time. We did a quick stop at the Baby Taj and only stopped at the fort for a quick photo

Great tour - Faizan provided great coordination and cultural / historical oration. All transfers and transportation were flawlessly executed. Would highly recommend the "express" train service as method of transportation if traveling from Delhi to Agra.
