Great walking tour of the French Quarter! - This was an amazing, informative, educational, and all around fun tour. Louis knows so much about the history and area and enthusiastically shared. He willingly took pictures of us and shared favorite spots to eat. He knows this beautiful city so well! I highly recommend taking this walking tour which supports the historical preservation.

Great History tour of the French Quarter - Great experience and very informative. It's given by volunteers who are part of the Friends of the Cabildo organization. Our guide, Joanna, knew so much about the history of the French Quarter and it was clear she deeply cared about her city and it's history

French Quarter Walking Tour with Louis - Our tour guide Louis gave an excellent and fascinating tour. We learned so much about the history of New Orleans, the French Quarter and architectural origins of the cathedral, cabildo, and many other important buildings. We loved the stories Louis shared with us to bring the history to life!

French Quarter history and architecture revealed! - We had a wonderful 2 hour tour of the Quarter with Louis, who is an architect and incredibly knowledgable about Louisiana history and architecture. It was hot and humid but Louis found shady spots to explain what we were seeing, which gave me a much better appreciation for the French, Spanish, Italian, Creole and American influences on the architectural styles. Highly recommend! The tour included tickets to the 1850 museum, but we elected to return another day for that.

Delightful walking tour of history and culture - On Sunday 6.17, I had the pleasure of going on a delightful walking tour with Louis as our guide. He was very insightful about the history and Architectural influences that have shaped the French Quarter buildings. New Orleans has always been known as a European city and from this tour, that was put into perspective why. Its amazing how much history and culture is contained in a few blocks.

Disappointing at the Start - I bet the tour would have been great! If we had been able to keep up with the guide. We’ve been in plenty of walking tours every time we are in NOLA. Usually they are nice strolls, not too fast, not too slow, just leisurely. Not this time! The guide and the other two guests were out the door talking and nearly across the street. We gave up knowing that this was not a pace we wanted to keep for our two hour tour. Very disappointing. High point we did get a refund.
