  • Garden District - GARDEN DISTRICT - Since 1832
The romance blooms as the afternoon is spent exploring memories of New Orleans’ antebellum past, gazing at secluded mansions, wandering down the brick lined sidewalks. Its canopy of oak trees is world-famous, while its characteristic gardens of hibiscuses, crepe myrtles and angel trumpets, make it one of New Orleans’ most beautiful neighborhoods. The Garden District has worked its magic again.
I will share with you the history of the Garden District from the early 1800’s. You will see Multi-Million $ Local & Celebrity Antebellum Mansions of Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, Anne Rice, American Horror Story, The Cornstalk Fence & The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Homes. There is also Lafayette Cemetery since 1833, St. Charles Avenue Streetcar since 1835, Mardi Gras since 1857 & Commander’s Palace Restaurant since 1893.

  • New Orleans City Park - CITY PARK - Since 1854
City Park as magical & unique as the city of New Orleans. This 1,300-acre outdoor oasis has enchanted New Orleanians since 1854, making it one of the nation’s oldest urban parks. The crown jewel of City Park is the world’s largest stand of mature southern live oaks, which includes a Grand Oak that dates back over 800 years. These unique trees are known for their distinctive sculptural shape - some of the oldest trees have limbs that are twice as long as the oak is tall. You will also see the Museum of Art, Sculpture Gardens, Big Lake, Botanical Gardens, Children’s Museum, Amusement Park, Story Land, Miniature Golf, Café Du Monde since 1862 & the Cypress Swamp from 1718 that New Orleans was built upon.

First time in New Orleans... must do this tour - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Paul was wonderful and very knowledgeable, we learned so much from him in a few brief hours on this tour, that we spent the rest of the day with solid plans on what to do next, and where to plan dinner. We loved the whole history of the French Quarter the Gardens , the graveyard and the amazing City park. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have never been to New Orleans before.

Informative and engaging tour - It was an excellent tour. Paul really knows the city and was able to share little details about every place we visited. The stop at the city park in the middle was a highlight.

Fantastic tour of real New Orleans ! - We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and booked this tour for the second day. Paul showed up early and we were outside our hotel, so it was off to the races. He has a wonderful personality, and we really enjoyed our time with him. The tour lasted several hours, but the time flew by. We went back to City Park on Sunday and spent most of the day there. We followed his suggestion and took the trolly there and back. We visited the sites and had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant on site. Great food was easy to find in New Orleans with his help. The tour was well worth going on and we would definitely recommend it. Best wishes, Gerry & Bob.

Great value private tour - This tour was perfect. Great orientation for our first day in New Orleans with loads of suggestions for us for our remaining time including where to eat the regional specialities. Paul was friendly and professional as he tailored the tour to suit us best. Value for money and the private tour was in a nice clean suv with great air conditioning. Highly recommend.

Good for first time visitors - The tour was run from the car, which provided an excellent cover from the heat and humidity. The four elements of the city were thoughtfully selected and presented the diverse views of NoLa. Great experience!

Awesome Tour - Paul is amazing! This tour is such a wonderful introduction to New Orleans and it will give you ideas of things to do and where to go. I would take this tour again on our next visit. You get to see the "guts" of New Orleans and learn fun filled facts and see things you will not see on your average bus tour. Paul is one on one, answers your questions and will go out of his way to insure that you have a wonderful experience.

For those that want to truly see NOLA - I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Paul is absolutely delightful. We got into his car as strangers and left as friends. His knowledge and love for New Orleans is contagious and I definitely left the tour with a deeper appreciation of the city. I would recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning and exploring New Orleans without all of the silly touristy lore.

See Paul on your first day, trust! - My brother and I drove from Houston to Nola. The construction on the first 8 miles into Louisiana made an 5 1/2 hr trip 8 hrs. Note to Paul: The welcome sign on both sides is MIA because of this as the Texas one is still up and easy to spot. Anyway, having this tour on our first day was such a needed, refreshing and welcomed experience to counter the drive. For one, you don't have to drive. Two, you will get a timely pick-up with all the information you need to navigate around. We appreciated that and all the jokes. It was as if we were visiting with a good friend. It gave us confidence to venture out and navigate around. For those who may not know if your street is missing a sign look down on the corner the name is there. That saved us every time. Also, if your on the tour record what you can so you can go back. It makes a return trip that much easier and Paul doesn't mind 😁. He's worth the booking and you will see a lot in 2 hrs. Thank you, see ya again maybe next year.

OK - We were with two friends who had never been to the Big Easy. This was a pleasant tour, but the guide was very adamant he only gives facts, no ghosts etc. Made the tour a little dry as it felt as if being read and all of us were quite honestly a little bored. He drove you around to each area and provided info about each spot. Unfortunately, a couple of the cemeteries are closed so we couldn't go in but that's not the guide's fault. Guide was frequently commenting that his business relies on 5 star reviews. So you can make your own assumptions about that. His vehicle is a Rav4 and only fits 4 people, 3 in the back. He's upfront about that. Two of us are on the smaller side, but that back seat was quite close. A bigger vehicle would have been more comfortable unless there are only three of you. We did not get out of that cramped car to wande each area, but I guess he does say its a driving tour. We did 6 tours while we were there and this one fell at #5. It's adequate for an overview of the city.
