Highlights
- Whitney Plantation - Whitney tells the story of the enslaved people who lived and worked there. It also includes the history of the early owners, the Haydel family.
- Laura Plantation: Louisiana’s Creole Heritage Site - Laura is a French Creole plantation that was run by four generations of French Creole women.
- St. Joseph Plantation - St. Joseph Plantation was a wedding gift from her father Valcour, who was one of the wealthiest men of his time.
- Oak Alley Plantation - Here you will spend about 3 hours on the plantation grounds exploring a national historic landmark. This historic site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history its inhabitants left behind. With an emphasis on its time as a working sugarcane plantation, visitors are invited to experience the exhibits, walk under the iconic Allee of Oak Trees, and tour the big house. You will have the opportunity to have lunch at the restaurant or deli. You can spend a few moments in the gift shop, at the bar, or just sit under the many oak trees on the plantation. Then you will board back on the bus and take a 35-minute ride up the highway for a swamp tour.
- Cajun Pride Swamp Tours - Once we arrive at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours, you will board a pontoon boat to take a 90-minute tour through the swamp where you will learn about the many species of wildlife residing there. You will have the opportunity to take plenty of pictures of the moss-draped Cypress trees in their majestic beauty.
- Lake Pontchartrain - To close out the day, you will take a 45-minute ride back to the city on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge overlooking Lake Pontchartrain before heading back to your hotel.

Additional Information
As you board the luxury passenger van, you will be instantly treated like a celebrity. Leather seats and a comfortable ride await you. As we pick up other guests around the city, you will be given a mini-tour of the city or you may watch a film about other plantations to prepare you for your tour. While you are on the van, be prepared to be entertained by the driver!

Best Tour in NOLA - Highly recommend this tour and K's Luxury Transportation and Tours. Kindrell was an excellent tour guide! Very informative, funny, and kind! Tour Bus was clean an new. Extra attention given to details and educating your guests on local culture and history was wonderful! Skip the big tour companies and book with K's Luxury Transportation and Tours!

Day on the Bayou... Don't miss tour! - Our tour guide Kin was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Had a wealth of information in the history and culture of New Orleans. Had wonderful recommendations and suggestions. The Plantation was beautiful and extremely well kept. Restaurant and gift shop were nice and affordable. The Swamp Tour was great. Captain Danny was funny and informative and made the trip entertaining. A+++ TOUR.

Educational and Insightful - We really enjoyed Kindrell as our driver and tour guide for the day! He provided a lot of helpful and insightful information regarding New Orleans itself and the various plantations that we visited. We enjoyed his hospitality and accommodating nature. He made the trip worthwhile!

Amazing two for one tour! - This was an amazing trip! Our tour guide, Kindrell was great. He was informative about the history and culture of New Orleans and made a point to take different routes to let us see all the different scenery. He was polite, helpful and communicative.
The tour itself was great bang for your buck with not one but two tours built in. It was a perfect day filled with adventure and excitement.

the best of New Orleans - K is absolutely an amazing driver and guide. He takes care of everything on the trip, and all plans are very relaxed and organized. He is also very kind and knowledgeable local resident, and we always hear some interesting things on the road. The restaurants and attractions he recommends are also very great! Choose him, and you will get a real local New Orleans trip!
