Way more then expected - This was way bigger then I expected. We spent over 5 hours including both films which I wouldn’t leave out of your visit. Had the fried green tomato napoleon at the American sector restaurant and wished I ordered a second order.

Got to see attraction - Outstanding!!! It is easy to see why this is the top attraction in New Orleans. The layout was a bit confusing, but once I figured it out, the rest was easy.

Life Changing Expierence with a high tech presentation keeps you iwantinf more - it’s a must in New Orleans it has so much history and rooms on display like what it was like. it has people from that time on screens who are not alive however they have created an expierence of modern technology it’s a important education and a great place to bring kids and it’s important to see especially in this usa climate. i went for 2 hours however 4 hours is really recommended you want to stay for the whole day i know it’s not what people want to do when in New Orleans however no museum like this however it’s a must

Second time's the charm - When I went back in 2015, they were just finishing up the Pacific Theater. Even then, I spent an inordinate amount of time there. This time, I knew to plan accordingly since the Pacific Theater and the Holocaust section are now open. I went for 7 hours and still didn't fit everything in. This place is one of my all-time favorite places to visit and is definitely the best museum I've ever been to. I'd say it's worth a trip to New Orleans just to go here.

GO! - When we started planning our trip to New Orleans this was one place I didn’t want to miss! My husband and I loved it. From the displays to the 4-D movie (Beyond the Boundaries) everything was so well done! It was very eye opening and informative. I loved the interactive aspects of it as well (following a soldier or combat nurse). The planes display was so cool as well! Don’t hesitate, GO!

First-rate museum; allot yourself plenty of time to explore it in full. - First-rate museum detailing the history of the United States in WWII. Some insights: -Make sure to add on the 4-D film “Beyond All Boundaries.” The special effects are fascinating and I appreciate that the film focuses on the amount of tragic loss caused by the war rather than a glorious perspective. -I spent about 7 hours at the museum. I am a historian who has significant interest in the subject matter, and would recommend making the time if you are similarly passionate about history.
