Dinner is served in two time slots, so if one isn’t accessible, please verify the availability of the other. The first dinner slot is between 6-7:15pm, and the second between 7:45-9pm. To ensure one table for your group at dinner, make sure to book as a single reservation.

While the Steamboat NATCHEZ is on a break, her sister ship, the Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS, will fill in. You will enjoy the same genuine riverboat experience, a relaxed two-hour voyage on the Mississippi, delighting in traditional live jazz, craft cocktails, and witnessing all the stunning sights of New Orleans. You’ll also get to discover the newly refurbished riverboat. Visit all four decks – the view from the top is a must-see! You also have the option to upgrade your ticket to include the dinner buffet.

  • In order to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic, it is requested that you please walk, if possible, to the convenient tour departure point - just a short stroll from most downtown hotels.
  • The riverboat is handicap accessible. However, access to the top & bottom decks are by stairs only. Please call before finalizing your plans if you have questions on access or personal equipment.
  • Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat.
  • The tour cruises rain or shine, however the cruise may be cancelled due to severe or dangerous weather conditions.
  • Anyone looking to book a group of 15 or more should contact the booking site directly. Different rates apply.
  • Should the Steamboat NATCHEZ become unavailable, her sister vessel will operate the cruise.

Great time! - The food was good, as was the music and the historical part of the ride. I’d suggest the early dinner seating, as some said they ran out of food at the later one.

Trip to NOLA - Booked this cruise on our trip to NOLA, music was great. Only rating 4 stars because the 1.) there could be better seating around the music, everyone huddles around one area and it gets crowded, plus the bar could've been better staffed, when you sell a few hundred tickets for 1 cruise, you should have more staff on bar, waiting in line for 20 minutes to get 2 drinks is a long time. The bar staff was great, they just needed more help. Overall, I recommend this cruise!

It was fun, great sunset. - It was a great cruise, I didn’t have the dinner as I’m allergic crustaceans and didn’t want to take the chance. My only advice is to be careful with alcohol. The drinks are very strong. Like they are in New Orleans generally.

See above - Cooling off on a very, very hot summer day was the highlight of my cruise. This was the second time I have been on this dinner cruise. This second time I was looking for the good food and enjoyment that I experienced on my first cruise. I am sorry to say that didn’t happen. The entertainment was good but the food didn’t live up to my first dinner cruise. I am sorry to say that I will not be experiencing a third dinner cruise on the Natchez.

It was a nice experience - Overall nice experience. The music was good. More options on the buffet would have been nice. Price of pictures was pretty high, considering they're useless if we didn't buy them. But it was a good leisurely way to see the city skyline while eating, drinking, and listening to music

It was okay… - For the money, I thought it was okay… The view was beautiful. The ride was smooth. The food was underwhelming and the music was okay.

Horrible Food - The cruise was the most memorable part. The food was horrible, brisket was tough , pasta was okay. For the price of 205$ it was not worth it!

Skip This One - This was not worth the price. It’s loud, meaning you can barely hear the narrator or the jazz over fellow drunk passengers talking and laughing, and the boat barely goes anywhere. The only reason why I gave it two stars instead of one is because seeing downtown lit up at night was pretty beautiful. Other than that, I suggest saving your money and skipping this one.
