Amazing and eye opening - This was, hands down the very best tour we went on during our stay in New Orleans! It's definitely a must see and also, you NEED to ask for Erin as your tour guide. I have never seen someone so passionate and knowledgeable about the history! If I could give her a million stars, I would.

Highly recommend this TREME walking tour - This was a very informative and fun walking tour - beginning in Lois Armstrong Park and then walking the streets of the TREME neighborhood. Our guide Nika played bits of famous jazz pieces to illustrate her stories about different people and places.

10/10 amazing tour! - I would highly recommend the Treme tour - it was extremely interesting to learn about the history of the area. Erin was very knowledgeable and gave a really interesting background to the areas and landmarks. She dealt with difficult subject matter very sensitively and was obviously very passionate and well researched. The background music to accompany the different sections was really enjoyable and helped to contextualise the different music/eras. Would definitely recommend attending this tour!

A highlight of my stay in New Orleans - The Treme tour was easily the best walking tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide, Erin, was so informative and entertaining. I learnt so much about the history of New Orleans, the roots of jazz and the awful reality of slavery. It is easily one of the highlights of my week in New Orleans.

Definitely check out this Tour (5*) - The walking tour was incredibly informative and really interesting. Erin breezed through a lot of information but it was very clearly articulated and passionately presented. She showed great passion, dedication and sensitivity for the history. This one might not pop out immediately as the tour to check out, but i’d very strongly recommend it !!!

Nika's Treme tour is a must! - Nika was a charismatic, funny font of information and an off the hook storyteller. From how Satchmo got his nickname to the origins of Treme, this conversation about music and Black New Orleans was the highlight of a very entertaining trip. Nika needs her own immense stage, for either stand up or a history channel. Thanks for making our New Orleans Saturday as informative as it was fun.

Best tour guide - Where do I begin? Meet- up location and process was fine. Nika, our guide was EXCELLENT. Her knowledge of the history and culture of Treme made the tour a five star experience. You could tell she has done her research and her familiarity with Treme was evident. Her stories were mesmerizing. An extra added bonus was the related music Nika played during phases of the tour.
