Always a Pleasure, Always Reliable! - It looks like a lot of these negative comments have all come on the back of travel restarting after COVID which is understandable. I use Hughes all over Australia and always found them reliable and easy to deal with. The office team are helpful when I have to make last minute changes and the chauffeurs I have come across have all been friendly and accomodating. I really can't fault them and happily recommend them to anyone.

Very professional and on time. - Great service. Both pickups were on time and the drivers very professional. After an overnight flight, coming out of arrivals and seeing your name being held by our chauffer and then being led just across the road into a waiting spacious comfortable vehicle is just what we needed. Now a permanent number in our phones and will use every os holiday. Thank you!

Professional service - Hassan (I hope that's his correct name), was on time and his Audi Q7 was immaculately clean. A safe and professional driver, who dripped us right outside the correct door for our airline check-in. No hesitation to recommend.

Not what was expected - Arrived at International Terminal and took forever to locate our chauffeur, he was delayed and it took several calls to our agent to finally get updated information. Overall for the price we paid we would have expected our driver to be both on time and more helpful. Very quiet drive and he appears rushed. More communication would have been better even a text message to say he was delayed would have been helpful.

not dependable, driver was a no show - The driver was a no show at 3am in the morning, despite confirming the transfer the night before. Reimbursement was refused unless I was able to provide a receipt for an uber or a taxi. I explained that I was taken by family, I was aksed to provide a fuel receipt. Although Hughes failed to provide my service and left me stranded at 3am, I've had to jump through hoops to address the matter, which is yet to be resolved. I don't feel they have taken any accountability.

Shambolic, assigned driver didn't arrive so gave me a filthy car instead - AVOID - As an Emirates Passenger I booked the "seamless and convenient" pickup for our arrival at Sydney airport at 10:30PM. The plane was on time and I was in arrivals 40 minutes later. Emirates use Hughes and their website states this is what you can expect: "First Class and Business Class travellers in Australia who book the chauffeur-drive service will enjoy a smooth, seamless door-to-door experience in an immaculately presented vehicle with total comfort and privacy." The Emirates chauffeur drive was shambolic. Two guys with clipboards with lots of folks having to show their booking paperwork as they tried to work out who was their driver. They told me they didn't have my name and suggested maybe I hadn't booked. So I looked at their list and found my name - they called out for the driver but none of the drivers answered. I also told them I had got a text 20 minutes before saying the driver was on the way - so they asked me to call the driver. I didn't have a number for him and asked why they didn't have a number for him so they could call him - they muttered then told me to wait whilst they found him. After 10 minutes of being ignored I asked them again where my driver was but they didnt know. I said they needed to get me a car or I would take an Uber. At this point they called forward another driver (who was not my "assigned" driver). His car was too small (he ended up putting a suitcase in the front passenger seat) and frankly it was filthy inside - see the picture of the half drunk Coke can - at least they left me a straw if I wanted to enjoy the leftovers. See pics attached. It wasn't "smooth" nor "seamless", nor "immaculately presented vehicle" and if we had been in an accident who knows what would have happened with the 20kg suitcase bouncing around. I have made a formal complaint to Emirates. If there was a genuine reason they couldn't deliver the service they should have been upfront and told us and I would have made my own arrangements. If I was to do a private car hire I would definitely not use these folks based on this experience. If you are forced to use them by Emirates, make your own arrangements as soon as they start to fob you off with the old "your driver is on their way" excuse.

Did NOT get what we paid for - We specifically ordered a Q7 as it says on their website that it can take 3 passengers, 5 suitcases, and 3 small bags. I even put in the booking to the International Terminal that there were 3 people - seems logical what the requirements were. Unfortunately, despite booking this transfer well in advance, the driver arrived with a large child seat in the boot. He tried to stack our bags in the back, one of which fell from the top of the pile onto the ground. In the end a couple of bags had to go into the passenger area. My partner's Mother ended up having to sit with her legs at an angle due to a bag in the foot well. She was uncomfortable during the ride, but was too embarrassed to complain, and she arrived at the airport with a sore hip, which is not a good way to start a holiday. I emailed a complaint three times before the NSW Operations Manager responded, simply saying that there were some new staff in the reservations team - and they should have recommended a mini bus.... Brief apology, but nothing else. Just me having paid for a premium service (as per their guidelines) and not getting what I paid for...
