- Hard Rock Cafe - Back in 1971, Americans Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened the first Hard Rock Cafe in London. Their landlord didn’t think they could pull it off, so he granted them a three-month lease.
How wrong that landlord was. Today, the franchise - which includes cafes, casinos and hotels - can be found in more than 63 countries. The franchise owns the world’s greatest collection of music memorabilia, and you can see it on display at its locations around the globe.

Great atmosphere with great food!! - The food was delicious - the burgers were amazing, a range of interesting drinks options. Amazing atmosphere, busy but ambient. The memorabilia is really interesting and fun!! We came in at 11pm and got served and to a table almost immediately. Had a great time!!

Good food. Better service. - Had plans to celebrate a birthday that got derailed by a missed train and the family and I were near Grand Central and starving. The kids wanted burgers so we decided to give Hard Rock a try. And I am glad we did. Burgers were tasty and they had a great variety. Our serve Lanita made our 11 year old feel extra special for her birthday and made the experience even better for her with brain testers, trivia and loads of smiles and good energy. Price point was higher than we expected but Lanita made it all worth it. Looking to visit the one in AC after our experience here.

Great meal, great service - Had a great burger with the family whilst in New York, with great service. Really enjoyed it, plenty to eat and despite being Times Square wasn't too expensive!

Great lunch and service - Really good meal in Times Square
We stopped for lunch and had burgers, steak and ribs between us.
Hard Rock Cafe is never cheap but the food was good and the service was exceptional. Huge shout out to Lanitta who kept the kids entertained with her riddles and tips on great stuff in NY to do as a family

Hard Rock at Times Square nice place to have a tasty bite and escape the crowd - tasty bite to eat at Times Square ,located downstairs - lots of memorabilia to look at , service was quick and food was delicious , missed the name of our Server but he was good ! couldn’t finish up all the food so we had it packed up and made a nice midnight snack
we had the fajitas beef/chicken came out sizzling hot , the guacamole was very tasty some places kill it with cilantro - here it was perfect

Great Stop on Times Square - Hardrocks never disappoint. The atmosphere is electric and the food is good. Nice place to take a break but still enjoy the Times Sauare atmosphere

Great Food - Had a lovely birthday dinner here. Great wings and burgers and a surprise birthday song and ice cream sundae.
Atmosphere is great and obviously memorabilia is great to see.

Don’t Book With Viator - Walk-In Instead - I’m going to start by saying my review is more against Viator the HRC. They sell this as a 2 course ‘Acoustic Menu’ meal, main, side, desert snd soft drink, and on the site, and the mains are a burger, ribs, salmon, veggie option etc. it’s not. You can order a burger, whether it be beef, chicken, pulled pork. The rest of the menu is not included. I don’t eat that stuff, and if I’d known this was what it was I’d never have booked. After faffing around for a while as I hadn’t printed the voucher out (in the small print but who wants paper copies these days??) I was ready to leave after being told we couldn’t have what we thought we had purchased. We’d have been better off walking in off the street. In the end, my husband had a burger and fries and the manager kindly let me choose something off the starter menu, so I had nachos. We declined the desert and soft drink, but had already ordered a cocktail (payable as an extra) each. The management waived the charge for the drinks. It’s not the staffs fault for this. I blame this on Viator who are selling something that you just can’t get.

Extremely poor service 🥲 - As a regular visitor to the Flagship first Hard Rock Cafe in London I made a point of staying in the Hard Rock Hotel, Times Square for my first ever visit to NYC. The hotel and the quality of service is FANTASTIC!!! I just wish the same could be said for the Hard Rock Cafe a few blocks away. As a solo traveller I made sure I did not visit during the peak lunchtime or evening periods. I arrived at 5.00 pm and the restaurant could be seen from the desk and looked relatively quiet. I asked for a table for one and was met with a horrified look and an immediate “we have no tables for one and it will be at least an hour wait “! The guy clearly did not wish to let me have a table for one and couldn’t have made this any clearer! I queried this as the restaurant was quiet and was told I could wait at the bar in the hope that I could have a table after one hour! I am a 68 year old female who really did not wish to sit alone at a bar for over an hour so I left extremely disappointed. The staff of the Hard Rock Cafe Times Square really should take a good look at their customer service. I will never be back to that location on future trips but will definitely stay at the excellent Hard Rock Hotel where the staff are wonderful!
