How wrong that landlord was. Today, the franchise - which includes cafes, casinos and hotels - can be found in more than 63 countries. The franchise owns the world’s greatest collection of music memorabilia, and you can see it on display at its locations around the globe.

Best Hard Rock cafe I have visited - Visited the Hard Rock cafe at happy hour to take advantage of beer and food prices (New York is expensive!) on this particular day. Limited range of beers and food on the happy hour menu but acceptable. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and music, memorabilia on the walls and a great place. Two hours well spent, without costing us the earth. Shame about the extravagent prices of the T-shirts.

Hard Rock, Soft Service: A Disappointing Pour in New York - A disappointing visit to the Hard Rock Cafe New York. This was our 8th Hard Rock Cafe in the U.S. and we did our usual thing of not reserving a table and asking to be sat at the bar. We’ve found at the many other Hard Rocks we’ve visited that this helps get you faster service, a better view of all the comings and goings with access to the same full menu. Service was indeed super fast and our food - classic nachos with chicken, to share - arrived within 10 minutes. The bartender, however, was a bit of a grump. Maybe it was a New York thing?! We ordered two Blue Moons at a reasonable $9 each. We were surprised though to see a member of staff take a crate of 12 oz bottles out the refrigerator and open them at the back of the bar out of sight. Our drinks were served in the regular 16 oz glasses with a noticeable gap at the top of the glass. The beer pumps were all on full display and there were no signs to say that draft beers were off. What a con! Consequently we decided to not order any more drinks, finished our tasty food and headed off to a nearby Irish bar where they served real draft beers. WHAT IT COST 🥗 Nacho chicken = $25.99 🍻 Blue Moon x 2 = $18.00 😢 Tax = $3.91 💰 Total = $47.90 We left $55.00, being a $7.00 gratuity to reflect the poor service.

The best place to visit in New York! - Amazing vibes, amazing food. My first time in New York and this just made it all the better. Our waitress Lanita was just perfect, brought amazing energy and a lot of happiness to our lunch. The manager was an amazing guy as well.

Fixed stop! - Every time we go to NYC, one night we have dinner at Hard Rock, iconic venue, with live music sometimes. We have been going to NY for 9 years now and we can say that the Hard Rock burger is always good, even if the service seems to expire a bit every time.

In free fall - First night in New York. Wanting to please my son, we go directly to Times Square to show him the thousand lights of New York. We decide to eat at Hard Rock, an icon in the imagination of teenagers... moreover in the Big Apple. Endless disappointment. Poor food, inattentive and unhelpful staff, unjustified confusion In short... from the stars to the stables. That's too bad.

The ‘Rock’ restaurant - If you’re expecting amazing food then this is not the place to go. However, for a fun meal, unique ‘Rock’ surroundings and friendly waiting staff then it’s great. There looks to be a lot of great memorabilia throughout the restaurant, but it is difficult to get at, with the numerous tables and chairs. Would be great to have a guide to what was there. Anyway, a great fun restaurant!

Average - The restaurant is in a great area however, that means lots of people. Normally at a Hard Rock we like to look around at the memorabilia but there wasn’t a chance to do this as it was so busy. The food was good but the wait times are very long. The staff were friendly. Probably won’t visit again but it’s a decent enough place for a one time thing.

No rock in hard rock cafe - The food is fine, a lot of different guitars and stuff from famous musicians. Drinks are a bit pricey, but it's understandable. Service is good. The only problem is the music that is ruining all the atmosphere. We came here for the atmosphere and instead of good rock for an hour we were listening to some 🐂💩 music which doesn't have anything to do with atmosphere and surrounding. It was disappointing. Whoever decided that it's a good idea should go and listen to this music at home and not destroy the experience of others
