Impactful and appreciated - Shear size of the ship and the plains are impactful. I truly appreciate all the men and women who served & are serving in the service. Next time we are trying the submarine. Had a great time.

A Second World War Aircraft Carrier - Impressive museum with fighter jets and original aircraft carrier machinery that was in use until the 70s You could also visit a concorde and a submarine Very interesting flesh and blood a somewhat older captain of the ship in question

The volunteers that... - The volunteers that worked the Bridge decks were the best part. They answered everyone's questions with a smile.

First time for everything - I never thought I would walk on an aircraft carrier but I was wrong! The airplanes on deck were fascinating and the inside bridge tour was interesting. Both the inside Intrepid museum and the adjacent space museum were well organized. Give your self several hours and you still won’t view it all!

Fabulous - Excellent museum. Could do with more than the 1-2 hours recommended online as we didn’t see all of it before it closed. Could do with a little more shade when queueing outside for the submarine

Interesting - The area to visit is very beautiful and large, Recommendation to go immediately in the submarine (before there is too much queue) because it makes you account for the internal environment.

Unexpected bonus for NYC - We squeezed this in on our last day in the city and didn’t really have enough time to do it properly. 4 starts purely because we didn’t see Concorde, the submarine or do the Apollo exhibition. I am sure they were all great. The aircraft carrier and the planes aboard were enjoyable. It was a really hot day and the command section of the carrier was uncomfortably hot. A bit of a cramped greenhouse! Other than that, it was great. There are a lot of aircraft here to keep a military aviation aficionado interested for a considerable time. We would have loved to do the rest.

Works like to see more of the ship, queues for the submarine insane - I almost gave this 2 stars, but I really enjoyed seeing an aircraft carrier close up, but for the price it should have more. It’s great seeing the old aircraft carrier and the bits you can see are mostly very good, but I felt short changed a little. I don’t feel it’s worth the $34 entry fee, the queue to see the submarine was over 1 hour, the planes on the desk were in terrible condition or looked like models. Access to some of the parts was brief and no engine room. Really think they could do better and get to see more of the ship.
