A real mafia walk - Very interesting and informative, this isn’t a subject that I knew much about but everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand and there was also lots of additional information as we walked about the area and history. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and our guide Dan was the best.

A Personal Experience - Dan was an entertaining guide, having grown up in the Hood. His knowledge was superb building the picture from the early 1920's to more recent times. Although many of the places of interest were now not as they were, it was easy to picture their original identity from Dan's narrative. I would highly recommend the tour.

Dan’s the real deal ! - Wow, what an amazing tour with Dan learning about ‘real’ crime stories and growing up surrounded by the mafia. Our walk around lovely Little Italy felt more like a walk with a friend who answered our questions with honesty and ease. The experience is really immersive and allows you to really understand life as it was, but without judgement or taking sides. I researched long and hard to find the ‘best’ NY experiences - it was my husbands birthday treat and he’s a big fan of mafia/gang stories. This was easily one of the best things to do in NY. It’s real, part of history and you will probably watch movies or documentaries on gangs/violence with a much better understanding. We absolutely loved the cannelloni at the end- the best ever and a lovely owner. Great price, book asap as I’m certain spaces will become scarce soon!

Great insider tour from knowledgeable and engaging retired NYPD officer as your guide - We did this tour with our children, age 11 and 13. Dennis was a fabulous tour guide- we loved hearing the history of Prohibition and the Mafia families as we walked passed sights where all of the action took place.Dennis’ own experience growing up in Little Italy made it even more vivid for us and the tour ended with the best cannoli and cheesecake we have ever had!

Not worth it. - Guide was poor, and talk was all over the place. Kept forgetting where he was up to and his back story seemed more than "stretching"
