If you’re short on time, the two-hour Statue of Liberty Express Tour option offers an introduction to the legendary lady from an expert guide in Battery Park followed by a ferry ride and guided tour of Liberty Island. Choose the four-hour option for a more in-depth visit with your guide including the Statue of Liberty Museum and Ellis Island.
- This is a walking tour. While there are stops along the way, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- You are required to go through airport-style security on this tour. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.
- Due to circumstances beyond our control, sites may occasionally close. We make every effort to stay as close to the advertised itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary.
- This tour does not include access to the Statue of Liberty’s Crown.

This tour meets at 1 Bowling Green, in front of National Museum of the American Indian at the bottom of the Statue with the Sphinx and Lion (when you are facing the museum entrance, it's the last statue on the right). Your guide will be waiting for you holding a green-teal Walks sign.

Memorable and enjoyable trip - Nicolas was our tour guide and he made the whole experience very enjoyable. He is very knowledgable and funny too. Nicolas very kindly took photos of us in front of the Statue and told us the history behind it. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing Tour, well worth it!! - The tour was amazing. Very informative and detailed with full backstories on both The the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Our your guide Joe was the best. We would highly recommend to these to attend.

Best way to see Lady Liberty - Very informative and worth the trip. Being that close to Lady Liberty is surreal! Jerry gave us a lot of fantastic information and finished it off with his own family connection to Ellis Island!
Extra note: if you want to get into the crown or base of the Staute of Liberty you MUST DO THIS MONTHS IN ADVANCE!

Definitely a must do! - Sara was an amazing guide. Her stories were informative and educational. She made the day so much better than just a run of the mill tour. Highly recommend anyone that has not been to the statue to go. Seeing it from afar is great but up close is spectacular!

Mindy was super friendly, but scattered. Several older folks in our group and it was hard to keep up. Great knowledge - Again, scattered but friendly and knowledgeable. Meeting place was easy to find. Maybe listing closest subway stop would be helpful in our information email. It was a great way to see both historical places.
