  • Canyon of Heroes - Tour the Canyon of Heroes at Battery Park, and learn about ticker tape parades in the place where they were born.
  • Charging Bull (Wall Street Bull) - See the famous symbol of American commerce, often called the Wall Street Bull, and snap a photo to commemorate the occasion!
  • Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House - This Beaux-Arts landmark was built in the early 20th century to collect duties. Learn about its history and significance as you admire its architecture.
  • Battery Park - See outside the Castle Clinton National Monument, once a fort to protect New York Harbor, and enjoy panoramic views of the Statue of Liberty across the bay.
  • Statue of Liberty - Take the ferry to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty up close. You can also visit the Statue of Liberty Museum and afterward, if you’d like, continue on to Ellis Island to explore the immigration museum. Your roundtrip ferry ticket is included with this tour.

Great Experience - I'll Answer Your Questions Here! - My wife, our 11-year-old and I had a great experience on the walking tour. We all know that sometimes these TripAdvisor tour postings don't answer all of your questions. Here's some more information in case you're curious: - DO YOU GO INSIDE THE STOPS? No, you don't go inside any of the stops. You see a lot and learn a lot. You won't actually go inside any of the stops listed on the itinerary. For example, we got tickets for Federal Hall and went back there for a full tour with an NPS ranger. Don't get me wrong -- this tour is still 100% worthwhile. Just don't expect to see the inside of the buildings. - WHAT'S THE REAL LENGTH OF THE TOUR? It's called a 4.5-hour tour, but that's not totally accurate. You spend about 90 minutes walking with your guide from stop to stop. Then s/he gives you tickets for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry and leaves you to make those stops on your own. The ferry stops at Liberty Island and at Ellis Island. You can ride the boat, see the Statue of Liberty from there, and never get off the boat. Or you can get off at Liberty Island or Ellis Island or both. How long you spend at these two stops is entirely up to you. So your experience could be 2 hours, or 5-6 hours. For us, it was 5 hours from the time we met up with the group on Broad Street to the time we landed back at Battery Park after visiting both Liberty Island and Ellis Island. - IS THERE A BATHROOM BREAK? Our guide took us inside the Oculus Mall at the World Trade Center complex and gave us time to make a restroom stop. I'm sure every guide works in a place for guests to use the restroom. - WHERE/WHEN DO YOU EAT? There is a full cafe at Liberty Island. If you want to eat during the tour (and it's a long time to go without eating), you'll want to plan to stop there. Another option would be to take snacks with you -- we didn't do that, but it seems totally plausible that you could snack along the tour route. It's not a bad idea to take water with you for the walk, especially if it's hot outside. - IS THIS A HOP-ON/HOP-OFF TOUR? No, it's completely a walking tour. You won't drive anywhere (unless you count the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island). A hop-on, hop-off tour would not work in Lower Manhattan, as much of the area covered by this tour has traffic restrictions. Here's hoping this information is helpful to you. Based on our experience, we would 100% recommend the tour. You see and learn a lot at a very reasonable cost -- even more reasonable when you consider that your ferry tickets are included! We were so glad we registered for this tour. Well done!!!

Great walking tour!! - Paul was very knowledge! What he didn’t know, we all checked out. He told us little details that made it so personable & he was just totally awesome!! Would completely recommend this tour of you really want to see the sights included. Only thing was the Standing Bull… he tills us that photos were on our own!! We saw why!! Way too many people in line for photo op. There were 16 of us in all. He kept doing a head count so as not to lose anyone!! We had a blast & would do again in a heartbeat❤️

Not worth it if they don’t follow the schedule/rules. - Here’s the deal - Tim was a good guide, a fun guide. But after 2 hours he left us at the ferry boarding area with tix. I assume that is what he is supposed to do. He did at that it didn’t matter the time on the ticket - that apparently was wrong. We had to wait air 2 hours to even get in the ferry queue- which meant we couldn’t do it. Logistically we took the 9am trip so we could accomplish everything. It stated the tour was 4.5 hours. But it was 4 hours until we could even start towards the statue. So you see the problem. When I talked to Viator - which is recorded, they said there’s nothing they can do. So much more to this story - but in summary, we didn’t get what we paid for. Viator needs to make us whole and I expect them to reach out to me.
