- H&H Bagels - We’ll start our tour at the famous H&H Bagels. Indulge in a freshly baked bagel with cream cheese from one of New York’s most popular bagel stores which has been featured on popular TV shows including Seinfeld and Friends.
- Comic Strip Live - We’ll embark on a journey to The Comic Strip, a comedy club steeped in history as the oldest in all of New York City. This iconic venue has seen comedy royalty perform here including Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, and Chris Rock.
- Agata & Valentina - We’ll make our way to Agata & Valentina, an iconic Italian specialty store that opened in 1993 and has earned the reputation as one of the best spots in the neighborhood to get authentic Italian food. You’ll have ample time to explore the store and while we’re there we’ll also try some of their classic cannolis, a must-try Italian dessert.
- Xi’an Famous Foods 西安名吃 - We’ll then wander down the road to Xi’an Famous Foods where we’ll devour some dumplings. This is a cult classic in New York City and they’re sure to spice up your life!
- 158 E 81st St - Next, we’ll pay a visit to Madonna’s $32 million Upper East Side mansion. Keep your eyes out as you never know when you might catch a glimpse of the Queen of Pop.
- Lexington Candy Shop - Our next destination will be the Lexington Candy Shop, a 98-year-old institution renowned for being one of the last few places in the USA where you can enjoy an authentic egg cream and savor handcrafted Coca-Cola.
- Mimi’s Pizza - No NYC food tour would be complete without eating a slice of classic NYC-style pizza. We’ll visit our friends at Mimi’s Pizza who offer some of the best slices you can get on the Upper East Side. This ain’t no frozen pizza, this is a handmade slice that takes over 72 hours to create and it’s 100% guaranteed to change your life.
- Levain Bakery – Upper East Side, NYC - We’ll end our tour at the one and only Levain Bakery. A classic “if you know, you know” type of place that serves up ‘thick cookies’ that will satisfy your sweet tooth and leave you wanting more.

Smaller group, wide array of tastes, entertaining host... highly recommend! - We've never had a reason to visit the upper East Side before, but this tour was it. We usually stay in mid-town and we were weary of the touristy places. This tour gave us a flavor of where we might eat if we were a local. It was not a white-linen tour by any means - but that's not a bad thing! We still visited some very tasy locales! Bagels, pizza, dumplings and canolli's - we covered a broad spectrum of NY flavors. We even got a couple ideas for non-dining places to visit the next time we are in town! There are a number of NY food tours on TripAdvisor, and what sold us on this one was the smalller limit to the tour size. Our smaller group moved about easily, was able to get in/out of restaurants, and was served quickly. Nice way to spend an afternooon in the city!

Highly recommended! - Really enjoyed the Upper East Side Food Tour. Each food stop was very good and my family enjoyed the variety of the servings.
Ryan is a great tour guide and he kept the entire tour interesting and fun.
Would use Tasty Tours again.

Fabulous Fun Food Tour! - This was an excellent food tour. We had a small group of 6 and the other participants were lovely. Ryan was an excellent guide and truly helped bring stories and connection to the delicious food and interesting neighborhood. 5 out of 5 for sure!

Wow--Great tour! - Wow. This is a great tour. The food was excellent, and far more than we were expecting. All of the logistics like scheduling, meeting the group and keeping up were very easy. And Ryan, who leads the tour, was fabulous. Very informative, friendly, attentive and fun. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic Tour! - I do a food tour everywhere I go and since I just moved to the area, what better way to get to know the area? This tour was among the best I’ve done. Ryan was an amazing guide, not just showing me some great local restaurants and sampling their food, but also showing me some very cool and unique landmarks on the UES. There are so many great restaurants on the UES and this tour is the perfect way to sample a handful of the options in a few hours. I have already gone back to two of the spots we visited and will be back to the others. I highly recommend this tour!

Great food and great stories! - Food was so good, especially the dumplings and pizza! The little market we visited was so cool to see too! Fun side stories throughout made it super interesting and Ryan did a great job telling us all the fun facts about each location!

Carbs of the Upper East Side - Nice and numerous food choices. Was able to provide a good overview of the upper east side area. Ryan was a fun and interesting tour guide. Will try his other tours when I return.

Tasty Food Choices! - We enjoyed trying the foods from the hidden gems that you may just pass by. There was lots of tasty food so go hungry. Ryan was very knowledgeable about the Upper East Side and shared lots of interesting stories. He was enjoyable to spend time with and we learned a lot. We would highly recommend this tour.

Loving the food on the east side - Ryan was an amazing tour guide not only did we have a food tasting experience but he also gave us a lot of history of the east side . It was a nice change from the busy tourist areas .

Amazing fun experience! - Even on a gloomy rainy day, Ryan will make your tour experience fun, exciting and very tasty. There is a nice balance of historical and fun information, easy walking, and tasting of a diverse variety of authentic foods.
