Broad Nosh Bagels Deli & Catering 86TH ST. - We’ll start our tour at the famous Broad Nosh Bagels. Indulge in a freshly baked bagel with cream cheese from one of New York’s most popular bagel stores.
Mimi’s Pizza (Broadway) - No NYC food tour would be complete without eating a slice of classic NYC-style pizza. We’ll visit our friends at Mimi’s Pizza who offer some of the best slices you can get on the Upper West Side. This ain’t no frozen pizza, this is a handmade slice that takes over 72 hours to create and it’s 100% guaranteed to change your life.
The Belnord Apartments - Explore The Belnord Apartments, among the Upper West’s most prestigious residential complexes and the primary filming location for the acclaimed TV series ‘Only Murders in The Building.’
Zabar’s - Our next stop is Zabar’s, a 90-year-old Jewish market that is known for its coffee and homemade rugelach. You’ll have some time to explore the market before we enjoy some chocolate / cinnamon rugelach fresh out of the oven.
Banksy’s “Hammer Boy” - Visit the Hammer Boy, a small but iconic mural painted in 2013 by the famous English street artist Banksy.
Beacon Theatre - Visit The Beacon, a world-famous theatre where popular artists including Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, and Jerry Seinfeld have all performed.
The Ansonia - Visit a breathtaking piece of French architecture with a rich history, once home to legends like Babe Ruth (Yankees) and the renowned composer Igor Stravinsky.
Gray’s Papaya - Gray’s Papaya is an institution on the Upper West Side who have been serving 100% beef hotdogs to the masses for well over 50 years. We’ll swing by their stand, grab a hotdog and enjoy it on the sidewalk like a true New Yorker.
The Dakota - Pay a solemn visit to the site where the tragic assassination of John Lennon took place.
Strawberry Fields, John Lennon Memorial - On our way from the Dakota we’ll visit Strawberry Fields. This now iconic location was put in Central Park as a memorial for the late John Lennon
Magnolia Bakery - To round out our tour we’ll finish at the world-famous Magnolia Bakery. They’re known for their banana pudding and their cupcakes. You’ll have the difficult decision to choose which you want to try but the good news is that they’re both absolutely sensational and are guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Another great tour! - This was my second tour with Tasty Tours and Ryan, having done the Upper East Side food tour a few months. Another fantastic tour. Ryan is a great guide with a passion for what he does. In addition to some delicious food, you’ll learn about some Upper West Side landmarks which you may have just walked by without noticing. If you’re thinking about moving to the city or new to the city like me, this is a great way to visit different neighborhoods and get a feel for them. If you’re a tourist, this is the perfect way to get away from the hotspots for a few hours to a more residential area. Thank you again Ryan!

Hanging out with a new friend - I accidentally booked a private tour but I’m so glad I did. Ryan was a lot of fun and taught us so much about the food and culture of NYC. It was like hanging out with a new friend!

Gotta Go West Side! - Ryan was a great tour guide. Great stops and lots of neighborhood info. Pizza was the best anywhere and it was simple cheese pizza! Hotdogs were remarkable and set a new standard, too. Pace was good; length of tour perfect.

The Upper West Side tasting tour was outstanding! - Ryan from Tasty Tours exceeded all of our expectations!! His upper west side food tour gave outstanding highlights of the area accompanied by delicious food. He has amazing food knowledge; including warnings not to try to make NY boiled bagels at home. He was so personable and continued our tour despite many participants canceling. I can’t recommend this vendor and his tours enough.

Best way to pack in food, sights, culture! - Ryan was our guide and he was so personal and fun. The food was delicious and was a great representation of the city.
