The trolley tour will take you into Fort Adams, a historical 1799 monument and host venue for the current Newport Jazz Festival and Newport Folk Festival. The fort also boasts the Eisenhower House, President Eisenhower’s vacation residence.
The Welcome Center is equipped with a snack bar, clean restrooms, and a counter for ticket sales for the fort tour.
Fort Adams State Park also has two water taxi stops, free public parking, and the Bennington Overlook area that provides stunning sunset views over Narragansett Bay and complimentary parking.
